This is a kick-ass video. Muir IS Suicidal. I think it's cool that he has always employed different musicians over the years. It's kept it fresh and kept it goin'. A lot of bands break up when it's a democratic process. In Suicidal, Muir has the final say-so. I think that's the secret to keeping a band going. I've seen several posters on youtube dissing Muir's lyrics on this album. I think his lyrics are just as strong now as ever. He is my favorite lyricist in the history of rock.

Keep in mind people Mike has been going hard since the early 80s. So just remember songs like Controlled by hatred , Lost Again, You cant bring me down, and so on. Obviously he didn't write these lyrics in hoping to inspire or change the way a person feels or thinks about themselves. Mike Muir is a god. you cannot fuck with the guy. when how will i laugh tomorrow came out, i found the soundtrack to my life.. still is, so many, many years later. he was the first dude to really put some emotional weight behind some tough ass thrashing. he made it ok to talk about how we felt on a deeper level than before. he shattered an iron cast "tough guy" punk/metalhead/cholo/skater stereotype but without sacrificing that all important aggression that speaks so clearly to the fringe youth. when we were 80's skatepunk kids.. we fought and started shit with other punks, glam metalheads, yuppies, skinheads, cowboys and jocks.. but ya just didn't fuck with the Sui's. those dudes got down on that cyco level, they never ran. I appreciate suicidal more now as an adult than as a kid. Mikes known whats up for decades, and I've gained little insights and introspective angles from his lyrics for over 30 years, now. that's fucking quality, right there.

Really?? Epic? What about " I saw your mommy and your mommy's dead"" , "institutionalized" and on and on.Even Ice T in "Body Count" Re- did "Institutionalized" which I'm sorry to say". I actually like B.C.'s version better, yet he still gives props to S.T. at the end. My favorite lyric from the song is when he says" we're not hear to mosh, we fuckin SLAM!
Wow, I wrote a punk song back in 2000 for my sons band and it’s pretty much identical to this lyrics. My song is called Pit Punks. But I’m sure there’s plenty of songs out there that are about the pit, moshing, and slam dancing. Slam City is a great song.
Man I miss going to hardcore concerts doing some of this stuff, moshing, crowd surfing, jumping off the stage, and being in a freaking circle pit!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saw them in Baltimore in 84' with my 6 skin head friends in a 1982 Ford double cab , walking through a gay place on Eautaw street beating their asses to see DK Black Flag ST. The Fucking best show in my East Coast world .
This is so far removed from infectious grooves its not funny!!!! Infectious grooved FKN sucked.. This is modern day classic ST!!!!!! 13 might be their best and most consistent album and world gone mad is wicked too!!!! ST keep going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't think of any Metal/punk band that has put out this many modern day classics. ST is doing something special here by not just being a thing of the past!

Loving the new sound. But Mike Muir is usually more introspective or insightful or inspiring with his lyrics than this. Slam City? …What? Maybe, I'm not 16 years old anymore. But then again, neither is he.
he dumbed his se lf down massively when all the tallented band members left in 1994, rocky, clark and robert all need to return, pleasents cant play rocky solos live, just a dumbed down punk band now,
