Such a fucking Shame he’s left this world so soon only band I can watch and get tears in my eyes they were fucking awesome to chill with his bless Mitch we all miss you
You can tell his voice was starting to give out because of years of screaming look I'm not hating on anybody because I'm a vocalist myself but after years of dedication and doing live shows excetera eventually you can't keep up eventually vocal damage will catch up with you no matter how long you've been doing it because our voice is not meant to do that but he was wonderful vocalist and I got the privilege to go on stage with him and scream miss you brother my favorite album was no time to bleed Bloodshed Edition because I actually get to hear your shit from 2007 live it's not the same as seeing you live but it'll do you are an inspiration to many vocalist and upcoming vocalist dude your legendary voice will always be alive
IMO its not damage rather enflamed vocal chords not properly slapping together to make that 'scream' sound. repeated use surely swells the chords and thus they arent elastic-like anymore. complete theory of mine, but thats what I think when I hear what happened to Mitch's voice. High screams are so damn strenuous on the voice because it is at the tippity top of your range, thats why you dont hear ppl who do mid/low screams lose their voice that much i.e Winston Mccall from Parkway (still a monster after all these years)
Agree with your comment man it's definitely easy to see why his voice started to give especially when he's pulling off these kind of shows going all out like that, cause damn his highs were strong in this one. No way you can keep doing that consistently forever
nah, there's extreme vocalists that have been doing that before mitch that still do it to this day and sound just as great as they used to, mitch just wasn't a good vocalist, dude never used proper technique
