more just your voice changes over time, and its hard to keep a consistent sound..

his vocals have always been bad. They processed and layered them alot in the studio and you can tell just by listening to them from the album. Took me a middle school minute to realize his vocals were bad. Hope you hear me out not just "OMG DONT SAY THAT HES DEAD RIP MITCH WE MISS U." Dead or alive music is there and able to be critiqued
