And even then, they're so bad. I just wanted to see Batman do like a deadly fear takedown on every single one of them where he like snaps their necks, blows their heads off with explosive gel, something to actually convey that the scary Batman that we took control of is no longer holding back. I get that the plot demanded he specifically didn't kill them for convenience, but still
@@AshnflashGames she knows that Batman doesn't kill. In the "Knight in museum" mission she was the first one to say that everyone knows that batman doesn't kill.
Speaking of game overs, I'm disappointed there aren't any scenes like in the Batman games where your opponent walks over to your defeated ass and gloats over their victory.
Yea I missed that too! You think that a game that is based on the Arkham franchise would incorporate that even tho it is based on the villains. Even tho Joker got a Batman and Aaron Cash game over scene.
It's funny and ironic, considering that Batman being killed with a bullet to the head is just how he would die if he didn't wear all the armor from the Arkham saga.
Never have I ever felt more satisfaction from losing in a game then here. These death animations are already 10x more interesting than the gameplay itself.
@@Megaproductions302 let’s see if you feel the same way if a beloved character of yours gets retconned in a pretty tasteless way 🤷🏻. Nothings personal until it’s personal
It would help Rocksteady to actually add battle damage for the clothing, you know to at least give the illusion that the Suicide Squad was struggling instead treating each encounter like a cake walk. I'm surprised that wasn't included in the base game despite it being a mainstay in the Arkham series which illustrated Batman's progression within the night.
Yeah that would help a lot. Killing the JL makes sense, ONLY due to the stuff they're getting like the gold kryptonite and the little yellow lantern charm but they still should've been shown to have struggled.
Its crazy how people don't pay attention to the dozens of times these League level characters lose and struggle against guys on the squad level on a regular bases, and act like its never happened before
JLA: most powerful group of heroes on Earth, The Man of Steel, A Lantern (the best imo), world greatest detective and Fastest man alive Suicide Squad: three lunatics with guns and one 'king shark is a shark' Yeah...I don't get how they're suposed to lose to these schmucks
@@Megaproductions302 Tell that to Joker beating Aquaman, someone people consider as strong as Superman, losing to Joker in a fist fight under water, Captain Cold, who freezes the floor and sends the Flash, another guy as strong as Superman (Bull shit) flying, or getting knocked out by a piece of paper, to Batman, who kicked and hurt Specter and knocked out the Flash in one punch, without a suit, or Lex Luthor beating Wonder Woman, despite her being just as strong as Superman (If not stronger in some cases) given she's fought and killed him. You say it would make sense comic wise for the squad to lose? Buddy, DC doesn't give a shit if things make sense.
DC comics: Joker beating Aquaman, someone people consider as strong as Superman, in a fist fight under water, Captain Cold, who freezes the floor and sends the Flash, another guy as strong as Superman (Bull shit) flying or being knocked out by a piece of paper, to Batman, who kicked and hurt Specter, and knocked out Flash in one punch without a suit, Lex Luthor beating Wonder Woman, despite her being just as strong as Superman (If not stronger in some cases) given she's fought and killed him. Me: Yeeeeeeeah. How CAN characters like these lose to characters like the Squad? Not like that's never happened in comics. ..... Oh wait.
@@Megaproductions302Yeah, I like how they attempt to explain it and fail miserably all the same, I'll explain how, long comment ahead. Green lantern: they used yellow lantern batteries. This is the most belivable one, but I still doubt that even with the ability of destroying the constructs they could survive the sheer firepower a lantern ring could spawn. Flash: Anti speed force device, aside from convinient, it only repels the speedforce user from getting close, thing is, Flash doesn't need to get close, he could literally throw anything at them at super speed and they couldn't do anything about it even with the device. Superman: Gold Kryptonite, would be a good solution, if the game didn't actively show that it doesn't affect him that much when boomerang throws a golden Kryptonite boomerang at him and he catches it and vaporizes it in his hand, so, if it doesn't affect him as fast and or hard for that to be a problem, what keeps supes from speed blitz them or just heat vision them or, once again, throw things at them at super speed. Batman: Not only does this Batman one shot them at the museum without fear gas but they do not develop a counter measure for said gas until already under its effects in the second fight. Yeah, it's ridiculous if you pretend to tell me their willpower is good enough to keep them so lucid they could do anything other than cry in the corner taking into consideration it is their first dose of it and it's a heavy one.
I love how the game is aware that the justice league could have easily defeated the suicide squad, like how in Superman’s game over, it literally says “all things considered, what did we expect?”
Flash gives the finger to the player before that first punch. Lmao. They did a good job with his characterization here, but a game with all these guys as heroes would've been nice.
neat little touch but i like how you paired each villain with their respective hero for their death deadshot being the last one standing makes me think he got a lucky break and somehow survived against green lantern's firing squad only to be brainwashed by brainiac in the end with the rest of his squad dead, a perfect downer ending
@@thefatbearcrew Dude, the cutscene for beating Copperhead in Arkham Origins is almost longer than every death scene in this game put together. That is hilariously embarrassing.
Okay maybe im bein obvious here, but does anyone feel like killing the Justice league was a bit too easy?(i mean the boss fights were cool. Had a hard time with Superman) i feel like somehow their gonna come back
I can not understand that How can 4 pathetic being can defeat Brainiac when Justice League can't and killed the Justice League, You have done nothing but insult The Arkham Series
Green lantern and brainiac were the only ones I beat first try. Gotta say green lantern has a pretty brutal kill scene, for his boss fight being fairly easy.
Me feeling oddly confused that Batman called Quinzel instead of Harley.😅(I dont recall ever hearing him call her that through any of the other games.😅) BUT i did want to see what the game over scenes were. So that’s done.😂
it wouldve honestly been so cool if each member of the squad died one by one taking down their respective member of the justice league in an awesome fight against the odds also have king shark use the green lantern ring against superman (since they're all incorporating JL tech against them anyways) so that superman has an actual reason to lose. also also it would be so damn amazing to have superman manage to break king shark's will and manage to kill him, only for king shark to get one last burst of heroic (as heroic as a villain can be) willpower and kill superman while his back is turned like yes I know its cliche as hell but since they've been going in such a radical and crazy direction in this game they might as well go all in. we could've had king shark's light...
They all had items to make it even a "little" bit possible to win Is it goofy, yes Does it fit.... yes Every media of suicide squad has fought jl threats at least a few times
You mean like every video game that doesn’t use plot armor? Batman would have realistically died many times over in the Arkham games if it weren’t for plot armor.
@@Megaproductions302 At least Batman had methods of avoiding death and injuries. Like smoke grenades. He may still have a little bit of a plot armor but he still showed a lot of vulnerability. Suicide Squad didn't use crap because despite having no superpowers, they avoid getting shot or injured very easily by jumping and flying around. They showed ZERO vulnerability.
@@Megaproductions302 Batman is super smart and is always a step ahead along he has many gadgets to help him in any situation and not everything that happens to batman is plot armor lol he's got the smallest bit of plot armor compared to the suicide squad who all of them have no powers, just guns and basic combat, batman would also get hurt throughout the game and pick himself up the suicide squad get out intact
@@Megaproductions302not rlly, let’s take a fight like Solomon Grundy in Arkham city for example, Bruce manages to defeat him thru pure competence like how he used his explosives and even escaped Grundy’s hold, in this terrible game flash can literally take the players clothes off that’s how fast he is but apparently he does that instead of just snapping the player’s neck using his speed when he had a perfect opportunity to do that but instead decides to take his clothes off ☠️☠️☠️ now that’s actually plot armor
right??? like at least have them use the incorporated jl tech in different ways like gadgets or something, anything OTHER than guns for flash, have boomerang act as a counter speedster to him (somehow) green lantern, deadshot gets to use a yellow ring (he's fueled by the fear of what the corrupted justice league will do to his daughter) batman, harley quinn... actually yeah probably the same as the game but just have her be forced to get up close and personal with the giant bat demon instead of shooting at it from afar (y'know, confronting your fears and all that) superman, king shark gets the green lantern ring (probably retrieves it from the water or something beforehand) and uses it to fight him while trying to gold kryptonite him (if the gl ring can make constructs surely they have something better to use the gold kryptonite on. like, a gold kryptonite sword and shield or something? nice little call-back to king shark telling wonder woman "it should be in a sword, not a shield")
considering how this is corrupted superman he probably didn't afford them the mercy of a quick, instant death via heat vision. he probably toned it down JUST enough for them to live through it and feel/see him punch them through the air and back to earth
"You'll never beat me Harley, I won't let you Win" Batman's Quote from Batman: Arkham Asylum Game Over. I recreate the Quote by Naming the Suicide Squad Name rather than Joker
@@oscarestrada6145 This is ridiculous. It's like if were playing Batman: Arkham Knight and were rooting for Scarecrow. Just shows how this game was a stupid idea in the first place. A Justice League live-service game would've worked fine, they were just trying to cash in on the James Gunn movie, but the game fell behind schedule.
@@ExplorerDS6789 The game itself was announced roughly 3 years ago and the game has been in development. Hell, ever since plus the original Rock steady team walked oit's no surprise that this game flopped as a die hard fan of the Batman Arkham series. I have no intention of ever paying for this piece of shit game
@@ExplorerDS6789it's that bad when we want the antagonist to win. But then again, protagonists aren't necessarily heroes. Also this is about as neutral as you can get. Great job! 👍
