Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League - The Flash Vs Evil Green Lantern
The game allows us to play as the Suicide Squad, controlling one of the various characters available: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark.
The story mode of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League takes place 5 years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight and sees the Suicide Squad face the invasion of Brainiac, who after attacking Metropolis takes control of the Justice League.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available from February 2, 2024 on Playstation 5, Xbox Series
In this video you can see one of the first cutscenes of the story mode of the game, where Flash fights against Green Lantern.

I'm no expert on Green Lantern. But from what I remember, doesn't the ring have a security feature to abandon it's user if they're mind controlled and killing people?

That entirely depends on the universe. This is true for maybe 70% of Green Lantern media, but the other 30% this isn't the case. Green Lantern lore is very inconsistent at times.

We're talking about Brainiac. If he can hack the batcave and the fortress of solitude in the same day, a green lantern ring's defense program is a joke to him.

Hal Jordan was able to use multiple Green lantern rings while being possessed by Parallax, though it was a retcon that revealed he was being controlled. At the time that it happened originally (in the 90's) readers were simply led to believe Hal went rogue due to emotional trauma

So from what I can tell Green Lantern is the first one to be turned and then S.S. probably "help" get most if not all the rest turned. What I find disappointing is that they picked John Stewart and just have him making only guns. What makes him such a strong Green Lantern is that he was an architect so he knows the ins and outs of things, yes he makes weapons sometimes but he does have more in his arsenal.
