the colud actually appears to hold the next fruit before it visibly appears, and when that invisible fruit merges with a bouncy fruit, the game also softlocks
This is so easy to softlock! God, I absolutely LOVE THIS! Games that have been in development for almost 10 years aren't even close to being as fun as this nonsense!
@@frozenmagicaster2724 In my few games, I got soft-locked like that almost every time. It was like it froze like I had bounced something off of my hand, but it didn't change the cloud and button state to match.
bruh I was literally scared when I first saw my cloud turn into grey face of horror and gruesome void staring at me with the dead eyes of guilt and pain after a cherry bounced into it
Managed to get a pineapple, but man those strawberries are bastards. They're small enough that they get a lot of momentum, but they're big enough to hit you when they skyrocket into space. And when you dodge them you think you're fine, but then the bastard comes back down from the stratosphere and snipes you. My current strat is using the first small orange all the way on the right, then bounce the strawberry on top of it to get it out of the box and from there i build the apple
I want to see "I used an AUTOCLICKER to play SUIKA GAME BUT BOUNCY" soon. For some reason, the fruit order isn't randomized, so this might be a deterministic game. Thanks for the game Mr. Bullet.
This is more fun than it has any right to be. That said, I know it'll probably never happen, but I think it'd be super fun to have an option to turn off hitting the cloud causing a game over. I want to just watch them bounce & collide indefinitely.
The technique is that after making the tomato, you wait until the bounce is high enough that you have time to go back to the left, drop the second strawberry and enjoy the high score.
My youtube froze for like a second as soon as he said "does it crash randomly" and I figured he had made the video freeze for a joke, no, youtube has perfect timing xD
and i just broke it. i used the second fruit to try to launch the first fruit out of bounds instead, the second fruit was launched out of bounds, but it didn't kill me at least, i didn't touch any of them HOWEVER since one of the fruits fell out my character got stuck and can't move and when the fruit still inside hits my character i don't die and there's no restart button bc i'm technically not dead (other than reloading the page ofc)
I mean if you watched his suika game AI video , it just came from there, he was making the suika game to let the AI learn and accidentally made them too bouncy.
I canˋt stop playing, it just perfect with the bugs, true to the codebullet nature. Altough i‘d even pay for a just a bit less buggy version, but the bouncing is so much fun
thought i had a perfected strategy to deal with the first 8 fruits until i no longer have any room to drop em without having them collide, and then utter chaos ensues. perfect
Awesome , but not correcly registred DEAD (if jumping_fruit hit fruit_in_hand) also fruits jump out from jar (like in HOMERUN !) maybe need decrease velocity (like *0.99 or some (i dont know how do it correcly) )
My validator brain attacks again. On my fifth attempt the game failed to produce a fruit after the fruit I was holding combined with one bouncing. Also, you do not initialize the seed for the random fruit generation differently for each round. but AWESOME!!!
I found a bug😂 if you place a fruit at the same time you get hit to the same fruit, so it 1ups, you basicly die, but you can't restart and the death face doesn't load xD
I just played it and the strawberries are fast af boiii. Also found a bug where if you get hit by a fruit as it changes, the controls will freeze causing you to need to refresh the page.
if you have any desire to improve it beyond what it is now, here’s some feedback 1. detect softlocks and make them a death state so the game can be more easily restarted, and/or a timer to give the player the next fruit when it’s been longer than it would take to fall all the way to the bottom 2. oppenheimer mode. turn off the protection against fruit duplication and let us simulate fission 3. if you’re really committed, get some art made, call it something else, and don’t theme it around fruit, and i think you’d legally distinct game on your hands. not a lawyer tho, so i’m not sure edit: i think the main softlock state is actually a death state, described below, but for whatever reason it doesn't trigger the death screen. i think it happens when you drop a fruit and then it it has a collision before it leave the hitbox of the next fruit, causing it to collide with the fruit the player is holding immediatly when it generates, which for some reason fails to activate the death screen
There's another version on Steam (the main version is the Nintendo Switch version iirc) using different art but same theming and everything so I think all he would need to do is change the fruit art and he would be good.
i can almost guarantee you it's Ip theft, but probably not a big deal if it's free and you stop if asked. Still be a good idea to change all the art to be custom
If Nintendo gets mad at you for copying them, just tell them your game is better because it's educational. It teaches people about endothermic reactions and how boiling works!
just a few issues 😂 maybe if you make the box longer, or the cloud invincible it would be easier to play? also you can break the game after you place 4 fruits RIP.
