I remember when it first starts happening and it took everyone by surprise. Almost no one expect throat problem to be the thing that causes the talent to have forced long hiatus and rest. And the severity of the problem was surprising as well. Marine had one of the worst cases.

@@Fishman465 Yeah but at the time no one saw it coming. It should have been obvious I know but it completely took them and us by surprise. It was a painful but educational experience that caused Holo to be more aware of unexpected things and help them be more prepared for future cases.

@adam-bf8li yeah they didn't see it coming due to how new vtubing was, particularly streaming for longer periods and how Sora and Roboco manage to avoid it (no idea about Roboco, but Sora's actually invoking her singing voice to reduce strain)

Suisei knows from experience she sings all the time and is very careful with her voice now. She once sang for 4 hours on christmas just for subs that was crazy☄ She has had surgerys and stuff like she understands and does not want to lose her voice

After watching Suisei’s Be a Rock stream, I truly wish that no one would go through the consequence of overworking, or had to overwork in the first place to the point of self-damage. Tbh, it was on my mind the whole time during that stream exactly like suisei said. I wasn't good enough to notice if her throat was swollen or not, but I certainly had a feeling that she might not be alright at the later rounds. Thank god Suisei was such a good senpai and convince her to go to hospital for us.

Suisei's been there herself. This is how she knew which hospitals and doctors to recommend. Aside from Achan, Nodoka, and Lamy, she's one of the more accomplished Holomems who worked her way up from practically zero.
