Me too! No one in my family or my friends like it tho.. They say it's a boring christmas movie. They dont see the beauty in it.. of true christmas magic
Pure goosebumps 🥹 my grandpa, who is now resting in peace, made the tradition with my dad and uncles and aunts, to watch The Polar Express every Christmas Day, and my dad has now passed it down to my sister and I and every time I hear this beautiful orchestra or watch the movie, it makes me cry and takes me back to when I was little and watched the movie with my parents and sister drinking some hot coco 🥺💙
I respect the audience for being composed and didn’t interrupt the band. But if i would’ve been there as an audience, would have gleefully cheered and roared! Just got goosebumps and the band deserves a rousing standing ovation 🎄🤟🤟
MegaChorro123 ....sir this song is easier to play than gargoyles or fable.... I mean maybe my part six just easier cuz violas don't usually get the exciting parts but ehh
It’s the conductors choice as to how fast he would like to take the piece. They have a suggested tempo written on the score but it does not mean the conductor has to stick with it
I saw this movie in Russia in 2004 when it first came out. The theme reflected the magical wonderland vibe that I felt in Russia, where my dating and social life were a million times better than in America!
The fast piece falls apart after 1:52, very sad, Beacause they started so good in fast pace. Overall they play it to to lovely, like a Sissy or Poppins movie. But it needs more contrast, more fury. Listen to the original ! At 5:20 they Suddenly get it back, thanks to the choire.
In my opinion they stay together for the whole piece. The fast section is very tight and they did it very well. It’s a symphony their goal is to perfect it not make it sound “fury”. No offense but you need to educate yourself a little more on symphony’s and professional musicians.
