Corporation, corruption, and eating ass. It's all here in this $1 surrealist indie RPG, SUITS. A business RPG! Get the game here - store.steampowe... / nitroradofficial / nitrorad
@@Luke-zj6ge In the game, the women are shown as literal objects that just exist to look pretty instead of having their own personality or ability to talk. This is obviously poking fun at how a (concerningly large) portion of people see women.

I decided to rewatch this review since I recently beat the sequel. It's so funny looking at the original game after how different the new one looks. I also forgot about how like, reference heavy it was too. It's honestly really charming seeing this turn into the much more story driven game in the sequel.
Hey Nitro, there's a sequel in development called Suits: Absolute Power. There's already a demo out on steam, and having played an hour or so I'd say it's a definite try. There's major improvements from the last game that it almost felt like I was playing a different game. Trying to reach out because you enjoyed playing the game and thought you should know.
As usual, I love your videos and the relatively unknown games you cover most of the time! You really deserve more attention, thanks for providing great content as always!
Hey Nitro Rad, there's a sequel to Suits (A Business RPG) that's been out since late 2020, and it's called Suits: Absolute Power, I think considering since you've reviewed the first game, you could review the second game in the duology, besides... "it's just business." Actually, I think the had devs sent you a key to play it and possibly give it a review (although it might've expired, but hey, it's on sale as of now, so you have a chance to get it for a lower price).
I really love your channel. The thing i hate is that you are so underated. You get to the point of the game, but you make jokes along the way. Its something that game reviewers dont really do.
You give me the absolute best games to play. First you got me playing Lisa ( and it's DLC ) and i've recently started Suits after watching this video. Thanks, my dude.
Great now there is going to be yokai watch×Pokemon porn, oh who am I kidding there probably already is *The internet: running everything since we got our filthy hands on it*
*meanwhile in a suits TRPG* Superintendent:You see the boss of everything going on, What will you do Player: *i pay him 4000 USD to stop everything* * C A M P A I G N C O M P L E T E*
I bought this game on release, because why not, it's cheap. It really got stupid with the revolution and CEO stuff trying to make "complex" plot, but I still appreciated the overall wackiness and humor. Dinosaur part really made me crack up. I can recommend DashBored as similar game, it got it's flaws, but since you're experienced with RPG Maker games, it won't be a trouble for you.
$1 adds up fast if 1,000,000 buy it then they made $1,000,000 not to add but if they count them selfs as a company they can write the computers off as company expediencies.
Either that suit is a prom leftover you never expected to use or you found the cheapest rental place around. I refuse to believe you just had that lying around
As a game development student I will say its not unusual to switch technologies depending on the project. I mostly use Unity for what I do but if the project is small and specific there sometimes in no need for the overhead of an engine like Unreal or Unity and a smaller engine is favorible like RPG maker or Libgdx(a graphics library for java)
As the average age of gamers is going up and up I think we'll see more games like this. After all I think the majority of gamers now have jobs rather than school.
Sandwiches are really fitting because every single corporate event has mass-produced catered sandwiches, and they’re always the same- turkey, ham or salami
Rookiewarrior64 it's almost like there's a correlation between making videos about games nobody cares about and nobody watching them..... For real though, it's probably better in the RU-vid long run to build a dedicated fanbase that consistently watches your stuff than to be a flash in the pan who chases or stumbles onto trends and quickly subsides into irrelevance.
the thing about the plants seems like the old expression "woman are to be seen not herd" portraying them as plants seems like a smart symbolic way of doing it.
In my opinion it seemed more like it was either one of these three things 1) The plants are allegories for woman, they have to be fed and sustained, this could only be achieved if the men work hard, maybe the plants were gifts from their wives to remind them for who they keep their job.. (Not that this is indicative of the real life, just an allegory) 2)The plants being woman is that woman are wall flowers 3)it could be that it is a eufamism for woman in corporations, they do not work, but are there to look pretty.
I'm kinda surprised Nitro didn't really hit on just how dark the game is. He mentioned some lore stuff, but didn't really dive in to how oppressive the game's atmosphere is. I'm really disappointed he didn't even talk about the music, which is easily the best feature of the game.
a bit of a late response but absolutely, it would have been nice to hear how he felt about the game being genuinely eerie at times. the song he plays at 7:33 (it being the Secret theme) is one of my favorite songs mostly because of one particular secret room at some point in the game where it was a small empty white room with a corpse in the middle of it; where in you can walk up and the dialogue box writes something along the lines of "He's dead. But that's strange, he looks kind of just like you." idk what it was, probably the mixture of the song playing the background with the entirely empty room apart from you and the body, and just thinking about that situation, but it creeped me the FUCK out and it was awesome. the soundtrack and the secrets you can find really sell this game because of the kind of tones they set the entire time and because of those, it honestly made this game one of my favorite RPG maker games recently, next to LISA and OFF and the like
Tycholarfero For anyone curious heres why. hit read more for spoilers. The Guy is The CEOs successor. he was built to be it. Hes a clone of the first CEO. Thats what the cycles are. How lomg the ceo exists.
You know what... the price tag is actually quite an amazing thing. A game so artistic, that it includes it's OWN PRICE into the message... or to purpousely contradict the message. Major kudos.
This game is *obviously* based off OFF and it even has some *blatant* references to that game! Come on, Nitro! This is the best time to actually make a full review of OFF like you did with Yume Nikki and LISA :D
"WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?!" I dont know game...youre the one who put a DINOSAUR IN YOUR GAME AS A ENEMY...BECAUSE WHY NOT?! ALL WE NEED IS GODDAMN WHALES
I believe that the reason behind women being absent and there simply being feminine named plants, has to do with some sort of allegory concerning the objectification of women within corporations or whatever. It's a neat touch, I suppose. Clever, atleast... Though such subject matter is way heavy for such a funny game.
Walrus TV Another way of interpreting it is the women choosing not to work. The plants are named after the girls the guys support and never see. Perhaps they were gifts from the girls. If i lived in a capitalist society like that I'd just marry any guy at all and escape that hell hole. We saw 1 women. An elderly woman who was forced into the shops for not buying something. That proves women exist in this world. Just not in the hellish work environment. Women have a choice to work and be independent or marry and rely on someone else. Like it or not some choose the easy way. Having that choice isn't oppression. Guys simply dont have that choice. From the moment they are born they are taught that their entire worth is just how much you are of use to others. That's supported by the incineration of the graduating class. Those men weren't deemed as having good enough skills to be providers and just got killed. Well thats my opinion atleast.
Caffeinated Poison Bullshit mansplaining at its finest. Patriarchy created a culture where women are not allowed to work, go to school, vote or get out of the house for centuries. Then now that women are given those rights, you blame *SOME* of them who would rather be housewives for this capitalist culture we live in? Red pill bullshit smh
Oh, nice, more RPG Maker game reviews. If you'd take suggestions, a rather interesting game is Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden. It's free, and not very long, but it's very fun to play with a surprisingly good battle system, good music, and an abnormally serious story for such a ridiculous premise. I really recommend you give it a shot if you haven't already.
It's not as ironic when you look up games on Newgrounds. They are longer, bigger, insanely polished compared to other modern games by indie and group developers and they're free. William And Sly 2 is one of these. I was astonished by it. It was charming, simple, funny and the controls were diamond spot on so satisfying and so responsive you felt you knew when to jump and how it would affect you with no second guessing needed. It was amazing and the music and visuals were really great too I loved the music. And it is free by a dude in his spare time
Hello Nitro If you have time, can you please check out End Roll :D I watched a gameplay from Manly and it is. really creepy and interesting (sorry for my English)
