This season was imo the most interesting, they really ended the mike vs harvey as lawyer vs investment banker too early.

Agree! I loved it. Much more interesting then Law and had so much potential. Funny thing is that the early pitch of the show was suppose to be about Mike being an investment banker before they changed it to a law firm.

Honestly Mike didn't really have the personality for investment banking/hedge fund. It's an extremely amoral and non emotional business.

@@KiLLJoYRU-vid Sometimes, it's all about the deal and bottom line, no room for emotions or morality. Most people I know in it are either exactly who you'd expect to be in it or people who hate it but love the money

That's what makes this such a great scene. They really do a good job capturing how intimidating he is with the closeup on his expression and having Mike appear so small behind him. I find it especially good when Jonathan hands him his tombstone and towers over him as he presses it into his chest, with such an intimidating expression.

+yesididitverywell yeah they're very good at that. the fact that Mike held his hands together like someone begging for mercy further enhances Jonathan's power. they also make Jessica tower over people as well just to show who's boss

I’m not a big financial guy so I’m just curious of how this works: if that guy wanted to cut sidwell and only include Mike Ross, why couldn’t Mike Ross just go to sidwell, explain the situation, and then when the deal is done, Mike gives sidwell his slice of the pie? After all, it’s mike Ross’s money now and he can do what he pleases with it, just give sidwell money without that other dude knowing about it?

Mike rejected the deal from Logan and that got him in hot waters with sidwell, he told Mike to fix it otherwise he's fired, if he told sidwell about the deal with forstman that means no deal with forstman and mike doesn't have the funds to keep fighting, that means Mike is getting fired

Actually Sidwell threatened to fire Mike if he failed in his first deal. Mike was under huge pressure. So he couldn't tell Sidwell about this. He tried to somehow fix it, but he failed and he was discovered and was fired.
