The name may be long, but this show is short. There is only one season produced, and the plot progresses at a good pace. This story follows Willem Kmetsch, the survivor of a war that had wiped out the human race, as he learns what happened.
The anime is adapted from a series of light novels of the same name. Season 1 covers the story mainly from book 1 through 3.
