tbh suki joining the group in the later part of season 3 was such a great decision, but i wish she joined earlier bc her and sokkas cute interactions are TOP TIER !!

To think, she was only ever supposed to be in one episode

you know what I liked about her in season 3 is that she learned and adapted so much after their defeat from Team Azula. She moves like she's incorporated Ty Lee's moves to her own style of fighting

I wish she had more screentime

She was the only one to take on Ty Lee, even Azula was out done.

Without Suki, Sokka and Toph would have died.

I just realized. Sokka and Suki are an oddity in animation because they're a healthy relationship without drama involving betrayal and lies; most relationships in animation have some drama about break-ups over lies or cheating, but Suki and Sokka stay loyal to each other and communicate whenever they're together. Holy shit, ATLA never stops being the exception to the rule, and that's why it's the best.

Fun fact: At the end of "The Southern Raiders" (the episode with that scene with Zuko and Suki meeting outisde of Sokka's tent, while Sokka was 'waiting' for Suki), Sokka's wearing a flower necklace. The writers have confirmed that this is in reference to the fact that yes, Sokka did indeed get "lei'd" that night. Geniuses, these guys. The whole lot of them.

if suki was the avatar, this whole show would be over in a minute

unpopular opinion: i wish they had more kyoshi warrior characters that had actual names and lines and weren’t just background characters :/ i love the kyoshi warriors and wish we saw more of them

It'd be so funny if because Sokka drew Suki firebending, in the distant future, historians would find the drawing and misinterpret Suki as a firebender AND a Kyoshi warrior.

Suki is the most underrated character in the entire show

Her Kyoshi uniform really held her back. It is not just her. In the comics, Ty Lee even stated that the uniform is too worm and impractical.

Suki really is the only guest character who can join the main squad at the last minute and still pull it off as a team member.

What I love most about her is that she's a badass warrior whose also a sweet girl. She's isn't those types of girl who look down on men. I love her character as a whole.

I love Suki because not only is she a very skilled fighter but her style is quite practical because 1: she often lets her opponents strike first so she can wait for the best time to strike(just like Toph) and 2:she uses her opponents' force against them.
