That’s an interesting point. I grew up studying music, but I also like the simplicity of drum machines and loops. This has become its own spectrum from drag & drop loops & samples to the other extreme of sitting with composition paper and a pen.
@@jmachatch6696 to me, a musician is able to play an instrument. I'm not saying sampling and editing does not require talent ans composing skills. I've played with some "kinda" pro dj software and could produce some sort of (crapy) music in a matter of hours. Give me a violin....well...better get some ear plugs as well
After I watched this I asked my 8 year old what a musician was, she looked at me a bit puzzled like I was asking her a stupid question and told me it was a person who plays music.

Here's what happened. When she said, "i make a lot of money," and she responded "thats interesting, i didn't know that about you." The girl took it as a jab. Wasn't the response she expected, was slightly condescending and like "what? She thought i was some broke bitch?!".. from there, she was going to argue no matter what.
I think that response was more about the beginning of that sentence than the money part. She said “the thing about me is I’m super good with the coochie so I always make a lot of money”

It is well established that education in very rural areas suffers from quality, but education in most public schools in the cities is beyond poor.
