Suko With Titanus Doug Review - Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire Playmates 

1:36 As the creater of that poster art, it was awesome to see Legendary Comics repost it! It was very funny at the time, and now having an official figure of "Doug" just makes this whole thing so goofy, but in a good way!

idk man, in regards to Doug being official canon now, there is a line where "pleasing the fans"/creators acknowledging the meme/meta culture of fandoms can go overboard but on the other hand I think it's really cool when they listen to the fans and embrace the "meme" culture as long as it doesn't affect the overall story/universe. I get that can ruin it for some people but that's kind of a stupid offshoot of gatekeeping imo lol. All subjective in the end.

Great review and I think they look great for kids toys. Still looking for these guys at the stores. Plan on getting 2 so I can paint the Suko to look more like Kong and Doug to look more like he does in the films

Yes Dman1954 , I originally found one pack @ my local Target early morning when they first opened about 3 weeks ago. I knew my brother really wanted it , more then any other one. Soi gave it to him. I know realized my local Target has better selection of playmate toys then my local Walmart, as long as you get there right when they open @ 8am. So since that, this past week & half I made few trips to target when they first open & are putting out new stock & I got my own set of Suko & Doug, along with the basic Godzilla with heat ray , witch I really like the most out of all they new playmate toys, other then the stupid battle damage gimic , while no other new toys have it . But also got my brother one of those & myself one. So @ this point I've got all the playmate toys & I got all of them for my brother Jacob. I also got the 11inch giant Godzilla & the $15 each Godzilla, Kong & scar king roaring toys, which used to have 3 riars in 2021 , now have two roars only. I bought a few extra king kings & did my own paint jobs , which came out ok I think. Lastly I bought the RCA remote control Godzilla , you put water in him and he shoots out his nuclear steam breath & walks & roars. Target wanted $60 for it & Walmart wanted $45 for it. I got it for $28.12, no joke 😁 Anyways another great video Dman1954 , always enjoy & looks forward to your videos 👍

Feels like Playmates just wanted to get these guys out of the way so they could work on the other ones. Suko looks the least like his movie counterpart compared to the other figures

I have every single playmate figure except for the giant ones.

Honestly the think the critique of suko looking too much like a baby is weird. He is a baby so it makes sense that he looks like a baby version of Kong? If he had the proportions of how Kong is now it would look off I think.

What are your thoughts on Doug being a ally to Suko?
