The transformation did fully heal sukuna so it was useless for im to pop it unless he beat go/jo also go/jo didn't get bodied since sukuna was in fear while go/jo had the time of his life and if go/jo was the one to face sukunas situation h/e would of beaten everyone and h/e would still do well if they fought again if go/jo was in control. For the Gojo meatriders in the comments, Sukuna needed Big raga to help him be able to make an move that can bypass infinity, also throughout the Anime and Manga you notice that unlike Gojo, Sukuna actually plays with his opponents making them think their strong so they lower their guard, which happened to Gojo. In all fairness GoJo got jumped by Sukuna and a being that literally adapts to everything and managed to kill da adapting curse which in all honesty appeared stronger than Sukuna
