Good to see a longer reaction, this episode was crazy. Here are some clarifications on your questions: 1. Toji chose Megumi because he was the strongest in Naobito's group. Megumi was the one who had received the least damage in addition to being the only one in the group to possess a Domain Expansion. 2. Megumi refers to Toji as the perfected version of Maki, because although both have a Heavenly Restriction there is a clear difference in the level of both. This is because Touji does not have a single bit of cursed energy while Maki has a slight amount. 3. Because Toji was in "Berserker-mode" going on a rampage against any worthy challenger, taking advantage of his mind gaining a moment of clarity (recognizing who he was fighting), the only way to stop him and prevent him from continuing to attack Megumi was end himself. This is not part of your questions: 4. A few months ago you asked who was more powerful Mahito or Jogo. Well, this episode reveals the answer, within the Disaster Curses, Jogo is the one who has the greatest attack power and at the moment is the strongest of the group, however, Mahito is the one who has the greatest potential for improvement and at some point he would have surpassed Jogo. 5. What would have happened if Toji had gone against Sukuna? This is my personal opinion, after certain events and revelations later in the series, Toji would have bitten the dust similar to Jogo, since both are in a similarity of power, with Toji being a little better than Jogo (but just barely). Man, this was an incredible reaction. It kills me to have to wait until next week.
Ohhh I didn’t know it was because Megumi was the strongest that make sense now. And damn so ure saying that Maki has the potential to become like Toji ???!! Idk if that’s even possible but holy shit that would be crazy.
Berserker mode, that makes sense as to why he was going after everyone. And yeah ure absolutely right the second Toji realized it was Megumi like even his eyes reverted back to normal before he killed himself.
MANN I HAD A FEELING that Jogo at the moment was the strongest but after watching this ep it’s def clear that as u mentioned, Mahito has the greatest potential and as we’ve seen he’s been getting stronger w every fight. I can’t wait to see wht happens!
Hmm Okok that’s what I wanted to know, so it seems like even Toji wouldn’t really last that long w 15 fingered Sukuna and honestly tht makes sense considering that Sukuna wasn’t even trying when fighting Jogo 😂
