Hakari is strong in fights, but he would never have enough gas to threaten Japan. Geto could raise an army, Yuki could turn anything into a nuke, Gojo had infinity nukes, Yuta can collect CTs and has a special grade curse on his side

Yeah,he likes to fight like Alucard from Hellsing. It makes me wonder if JJKs mangaka also took inspiration from more anime than just Naruto. Sukuna reminds me of Alucard in some ways.

Think of it like the hurricane category system. It’s not meant to be a direct powerscaling system but to see how much of a threat the curse is to normal society. Cat 5 hurricanes mean max damage. That begins at 157 mph. So a hurricane at 500 mph is still technically cat 5 hurricane. That’s because they both do complete destruction, even if one is much stronger than the path. Special grade just means that they can conquer a nation if left unchecked. The special grade curse here would be able to conquer a nation. So would Sukuna. So they would be both special grade since they both can do that.

I think Malevolent Shrine destroys everything if he activates Dismantle. Here, he seemingly used Cleave, which only locks onto objects/beings with CE.

Never has it been shown that you can be selective about what or what doesn't get hit by a Domain Expansion's sure hit, either.

I feel like he still would’ve killed him, but if he had gone along with it he would’ve gotten to live longer.

He assumed Itadori wanted to switch out with him and would do so. He therefore figured if he could lure the cursed spirit to where Megumi was, he could cause more trouble for Itadori who he figured would seize control of his body soon.

During the finger bearer fight Sukuna refused to help and was forced by Yuji to switch, they explained it later when Sukuna tricked Yuji into the binding vow. not only that but Sukuna also consume a finger to increase his strength and pull out Yuji heart to stop him from coming back because Sukuna thought Yuji would be affraid of death.
