I like it. But vocals need more energy. The music builds and the vocals aren't quite matching the build up.

I think the mixing is a bit off to my ears. If you up the mids and treble a little it might help. I think it's bass heavy and muddy and the vocal is a bit lost in it.

Why the F haven't I heard of this band before?!!?! I started this song, immediately liked the aetherial vocals, then the music came in, great drums and I was like yup, this is right up my alley, cd buying time. Then the grunts came and I was dowing the bowing down I'm not worthy movement with my arms.....DEFINITELY CD BUYING TIME! *** edit *** I took a look on Discogs....one-woman project?!??! Damn lady, you f-ing rule!!!

This is my introduction to the subgenre of Dark Folk - moody, dreamy-nightmarish-Stoner-Gothic-New Age-Death Metal fused into a new sound. Not often at my ripe old age do I go "ooh, what's THIS??" It's chillout music in a dark Gothic kinda way. You can see yourself wandering in the Dimension Of The Lost listening to this. Intriguing and interesting. I think you have to be in the right mood for it. Btw not to be confused with the AMARANTHE Symphonic Metal tune. My Score: Good 3*

You may also be interested in the genre of Doom Metal. There are many takes on it but the bands Katatonia and Draconian are my favourites.

I admit I was a bit worried after first track that the new album might be too extreme for my tastes, but this is the kind of stuff that initially drew me to Lunar Falls. Looking forward to hearing more and to hometown shows!
