You are correct, water from a sulfur springs is stinky. We had city water from a sulfur springs and the only way to drink it was to freeze it in milk jugs with NO LID ON THE JUG, then thaw in the fridge with no lid. Glad you could solve the issue.
I am a 3rd generation well driller, pump installer, and water treatment guy. This is exactly what I would do if my house had sulfur. The only problem is, I could never sell a unit like this to a customer because there are soooo many things to go wrong and the majority or people don't want to maintenance a system no matter how awesome it works. But sulfur is a gas, so the best way to get it out of the water is to aerate it. You can't aerate it in your well because its too deep. So for the system to work correctly, is to aerate it in a tank and then pump it to your home. I think that system is awesome. Good job
