Maybe because Hurrem was constantly nurtured with love from her loving husband beside her all along until the end but Kosem was all alone to face all the challenges by her own self after Ahmed left early and the immense power in her own hand alone for too long gradually led her astray from the true path. Still it’s kinda sad to see the differences in each of their endings. One died peacefully in the embrace of her beloved, with many of the loved ones alive but the other was murdered with all dead except the crazy one 🤧

Hurrem died before sultan Suleiman, Suleiman was there to protect her, it is the opposite of Kosem's fate because sultan Ahmet died early.

She always had a measure of self-awareness that most of the other characters didn't really have. She also had a sense of empathy that never left her. She won because she kept her humanity in that inhuman system.

@@MissLaraAshcroft To be fair I wouldn't really want Süleyman's 'love' for Hürrem given how abusive he is towards her in the show. She spent much of the show isolated and alone just as Kösem did. She just faced different challenges.

I don't understand why Hurrem and Syleiman should have a grave, but Pargali Ibrahim Pasha no? He was also a human, so why no? They were evil, Mahidevran and Hatice were right. At least, have respect for the deads dude. And the fact that she made many atrocities, this doesn't means that she had a good death and Pargali and Mustafa had a bad death. What about Syleiman? He died badly, didn't he? He was suffering, because he chose the suffering. He did this to himself. All the misfortunes and deaths had happened because of him. But people can't see our own mistakes and we always see only the mistakes of the others (for example I was forbidden by my father when I was a kid to eat unhealthy food (fries, cheeses, meat, candies and sweats, especially what contains sugar and oils and salt. Then, after this moment, I chose to eat sweats and junk food everyday, until I ended up fat with grass, until last year that I told him openly, with a little bit nervously and daring, that either he will let me lose weight by myself, so I can lose weight without lacking of sweats or I will die from obesity and that he will be responsible for my death. Even Mustafa not having a shorter leash on his supporters. They all tried to survive. There's no good or bad deaths, just some questions: Did you do everything you wanted? Are you satisfied with how you lived?
