Mark Knopfler is an amazing guitar player. He chicken picks a majority if not all of his parts in the songs.

It’s clear he’s thinking about chord tones for his melodies. And throwing in some more scalar stuff to link it together. Then it’s mainly the fact that he’s clearly a fan of country style picking and rhythm. It‘a definitely one of the pinnacles of guitar playing.

That's funny. We were having a conversation just the other day about basket ball players and tattoos. Back in the day you hardly ever saw tattoos on basketball players. Even today you see alot of high school kids with tattoos playing basketball. Do they really feel without tattoos they can't play as well or is it for intimidation for their opponents?

Ahmad Elhamshary oh little guy. I play guitar and i have listened to pink floyd for years. And i dont know if your half blinded ears heard right but comfortably numb also sounded bad at some point. Because its adapted in electric guitar. Acoustic guitar cant give away all the tones especially the thin sounds. I know what im talking about.
