Yeah I still don’t get that and it annoys me when bands, like this one, say they’re huge fans of people this, Rob Halford & Tommy Lee, but play totally different music that sucks.
@@kingrick5494 They name check Maiden and Priest and how they were raised on them in a couple of their songs. Who cares if their music is not metal 2.0. They did their thing with their style and had fun and success with it.
Poor rob had no idea that in 7 years mtv would just stop playing music videos... they should even be allowed to be called mtv just on the principle of what they were and now are
Motley Crue should fire Vince Neil and hire Deryck to front the next tour. I'll bet even today he could do a better Vince than Vince. And an extra guitar player as well. A win-win.
One of my favorite shows when I was a kid in the early 2000s sum 41, new found glory , saves the day and face to face this was right when they were getting big so it was wild to see them afterwards on mtv and stuff but I remember they put on a good show nfg was really good too saves the day was good but their set was long and face to face was awesome every time I saw them
Holy shit this made me laugh. Had to send this comment to another metal friend who cracked up as well. We've both watched this vid countless times. Fucking funny post.
totally agree, audience , most of them, had no idea they were in the presence of a Metal God and besides Dio, the best metal vocals of all time in my opinion.
Been 20 now, wonder what they’ll do, they could have these guys back, or have some prosthetic asses with with fake lips instead, they’ll probably go with the latter.
@@kingrick5494 Dude, you are the perfect example of the typical idiot who hates a band, and wants to everybody know's it, you are just another shitty little hater, good luck with your "great musical tastes".
Yeah I don’t know, high honor yes, and definitely not true, but I don’t even think they were ever trying to be any sort of metal whatsoever, barely even rock n roll, just pop punk AT BEST! More emo really
@@kingrick5494 Mate, did you hear Chuck? Order in Decline? These albums have nothing to do with pop punk. I'm not saying they're a metal band but saying it's "barely rock" is just ignorant.
The way Halford just slowly walks on stage is hair raising. Great to see Sum41 in their prime having fun and Tommy Lee showing why he really is one of the all time great RnFnR drummers. Shame Steve left the band though. He was half Sums performance and personality.
If they were just 10 years older, they'd have 100% been a hair metal band. Half Hour of Power is my go-to album for intensive elliptical/stationary workouts.
Este sin duda fue el ultimo mejor momento de la voz de rob tomy lee en muy buena forma con la bataca y sum 41 justo en esos momentos estaban en la luna .
I love sum 41. Just to reach their level of success in music, I'd be happy for life. But, god damn, to play a classic priest song with Halford, that's uber awesome. I wouldn't be able to contain happy tears at the stage.
