Guitar rock is NOT almost gone. No one's supporting it anymore. I'm in a punk band and hardly anyone's come to our shows

Guitar-driven music isn't almost gone, it's sad that Sum 41 are calling it quits but that couldn't be any further from the truth There's always Guitar-driven bands out there, alot of them don't get the recognition they deserve and can only play smaller venues, the more people explore music and embrace the smaller/lesser known the better

One of my favorite bands playing a song from one of my other favorite bands. Every riffs written by Tom Morello are all so iconic and kickass! Seeing Sum 41 for the first time and only time in March. Hope they play this cover too!

Sum 41 also did a cover of Metallica's "Master of Puppets" at one of their shows several years ago. That cover was the bomb, and so is this cover of RATM. These guys are just as good at doing cover songs just as they are with their own songs. No wonder I've been a fan of SUM 41 for 20 years!

I wish it would be a common thing bands cover whole albums from other artists in the genre. Motörhead and Sum 41 covering Metallica, Avril covering Greenday and many more performances have been spectacular, but are very rare unfortunately. I think especially Avril stood out, because I don't like most of her original lyrics and composing, but she shines when she performs pieces from actual masters of the art.
