also did you guys see that one shot where kusanali literally glitched out of existence lmao?? she's definitely part of the mirage in sumeru donate to planned parenthood: plannedparenthood.org/donate join my discord server: discord.gg/VCsK9uvAkb
i sometimes wonder how much wisdom the people of sumeru really have if they put this much pressure on a child. sure kusanali is hundreds of years old but her mind still works in ways of that of a child, since her vessel is literally the body of a child. she just wants to protect whats left of sumeru (if there even is anything left at all)
It's not that she's a child, she's just a child in archon years, which is actually a really old adult for us. I don't think she has the mentality of a child either, from what we saw of her, she is mature and wise. The problem is that the Akademiya wants the previous archon back because they can't accept her death and the arrival of a new archon, who probably doesn't have as much knowledge as the other because of her young age. (So not the whole nation, only the Akademiya.) The thing is, Kusanali probably doesn't do anything to stop their folly because she came to agree with them and wants to disappear -> "The world forget me."
@@uch1hasxrasa i have done the archon quest. and i stand by my point. i dont believe a single archon would use the words 'anxiety dookie' the way she does.
@@beteljules1134 then by ur logic venti has the mind of a child and zhongli has the mind of a teen even adult's say that and don't forget kusanali is an archon she heard what humans say and resaid it☠️
Your theory brought a lot of questions, so I decided to watch the trailer again, specifically the fading part. From what I deduced, Sumeru's buildings may be a ilussion, but not all is fake. On my opinion, I don't think is a Mirage, but rather is a memory / energy that is returning back to the Ley Lines, the place where is belong to. And is possible that Abyss Electro Lector is messing up with that energy, because he mocking ask "Or you are just in denial?". Meaning that there's something those Sages have been hiding from the public. On my opinion, the Divine Capsule is a scam, it doesn't posses knowledge but rather Archon residue or corrosion. And it have been created by Fatui, similar how they have been creating Delusions at Inazuma --- the people of Sumeru doesn't seem really care if you have a Vision or not. And that Capsulle is what caused that Eremite and Machine to lost control of their bodies and suffered a type of corruption.
I was already wondering what would happen if presumably Kusanali’s wish of “The World Forget Me” would come true. This definitely gives some good ideas about what the consequences would be. It also raises some questions about what would happen if in other parts of Teyvat the majority were against their archon. Would mondstat be a snow covered tomb for its people? Would the bindings of dead gods in Liyue fade? Would Inazuma be a land of endless storms?
Man, Kusanali wanting to disappear with the mirage according to your theory really does hit home. She's like a lot of students nowadays; cared for by their parents (the worshippers of her/the citizens of Sumeru on her birthday) and yet putting immense pressure on them because of their shortcomings (being a product of Rukkhadevata's death) which causes them to become stressed and have low self esteem, resulting in feeling like they're not good enough, a burden, and wanting to disappear. Not only that, but with how Sumeru's ideal is wisdom, it only fits the reality of multiple students in the education system to this day.
I said that I’ll never pull for her cuz she’s like Klee but green, she is cute, but I won’t pull. All the theories and Kusanali’s story makes me wanna pull, her story rlly hits home ;_;
Comment #1: I don't think the people of sumeru "hates" her. They seem to like her. The sages, on the hand, seem to be obsessed with Rukkhadevata even 500 years after her death to the point where they're still in heavy denial. After all, "the enemy of the God of Wisdom is Wisdom itself".
I am from Iran and here is some info: Sabzerooz(day of grass) is probably based on norooz, it's the persian new years holiday and it happens in spring , thus the connection between plants and spring
1:10 The God of the Woods is also the God of Wisdom. Kusanali is the God of Wisdom, as well as the God of Flowers. It's like Venti who's the God of Freedom and the God of Anemo/Wind at the same time.
I don’t think they necessarily are. Ei is the god of Eternity while Makoto was the god of Transience. Both being the god of Electro. I don’t think there’s any real president to compare the Dendro archons too since Venti and Zhongli have been the archons the entire time and Ei and Makoto were both semi-sharing one identity. It’s definitely possible that they are both gods of wisdom but I don’t think it’s certain.
@@Chopsparillo Makoto was also the god of eternity actually, she just didn't have the same definition of eternity as Ei : Ei saw eternity as one big moment that lasted forever, while Makoto saw eternity in eternal change and the fleeting moments. Even though this is different, it is still a form of eternity.
Comment #3: In her defense, the mirages' intention in the archipelago event was to actually help the whole party confront their fears and face the truth. Not harm them or keep them in denial of something.
My guess is that Kusanali is not a shade or 'rebirth' of Rukkhadevata, but rather that she has inherited all of Rukkhadevata's knowledge via the Irminsul tree that their consciences are connected to. As for why Kusanali has created the mirage, I'm not sure, since my theory would mean she wouldn't think like a child. But I do believe (from a gameplay, business and purely practical perspective) that at the end of the Archon quest, Kusanali will use her power (or likely, the Gnosis) to turn the illusion into reality. I can't imagine Hoyoverse would just completely discard all those environments and assets bc they were 'only a mirage'.
Well for all the ppl of Sumaru, Lil' Kus is going through Divine Adolescent. Like by mortal standards she's a full grown adult but by God standards she's just a baby. So of course the people want to spoil her a little and let her have a childhood, but the Sages either want her to grow up faster or just move aside.
Does the withered plant (from the chasm) related to sumeru? Sumeru and chasm is near so it will make sense that this withered plant has something to do with the withered land. (The plant is found in a cave with a huge tree and several totems)
@@orangejuicelexy isn’t it also strange that despite being a cave (really gloomy and dark) there’s a lot of wild life. There is several underground trees and there was a talking fungus which seemed stress when we met them. We literally have cute fungi that we have to fight and it’s included in the trailer.
People have also theorized that the previous dendro archon which I won’t even bother to spell their name was the one who made the rain forest mirage or something like that cause shes the dendro god and didn’t want people to live in the dessert I guess? And now that she’s dead the mirage is slowly fading away because now the mirage is in Kusanali hands and as you said Kusanali probably sees herself as a disappointment and the stress she’s getting is fading the rain forest into wither I’m not completely sure but this is what I just found 🤷♀️
Doesn't it seem that Tighnari isn't fond of the academia, like how his voice tone changes when he was speaking about the akasha terminal being made by them. Could be wrong but it's just something I noticed 😅
It does make sense, but I won't hold my breath too long. We'll just have to wait for next week, when version 3.0 finally comes out, to learn more. I did hear a rumor somewhere of how the harbingers will play into all this, but I won't hold my breath on that either. I'm just excited to explore this new country and story!!!!
try to relate kusanali with the dendro slime. See that the Bigger slime reproduces the smaller slimes. Also the Slime hides its true identity and shows its fake parts. Try to relate it with your theory
Dendro archon Nahida did say she was small and weak. She was kept in a room for a long time. (Leaks) So I believe she was a literal baby when she became an archon. And leakers say we will be shocked to see her amazing power and intelligence
I’m a bit late for this but I came across your theory and you weren’t entirely wrong she did create another version of herself and she is connected to allusions which can also be dreams but I feel like people thought that Sumeru would be fake because of the fading scene and looking back on that it really didn’t make much sense hoyo wouldn’t creat the fourth nation only it to be not real or fake I’m pretty sure a the dendro archon doesn’t have power to create a whole illusion of a nation but she did have power over dreams and those would be pretty much classified as illusions
Ok I neeeeed everyone’s opinion on my thoughts cause I don’t really have them organized yet lol. This all stems from the portion of the video with the voice that says “the world… forget me..”. I personally think this is the original god of the woods (I’m gonna be calling her Ruk to make it easier for me lmao) I don’t really feel like it has that childish softness that we heard in kusinalis and even Klees voice. It just feels and sounds more adult to me. My little mini theory is that ruk isn’t actually dead or if she is then it wasn’t the cataclysm that directly caused it. I think she’s trying to say something along the lines of “the world won’t forget me” this makes me wonder if it was the sages who are potentially behind her disappearance. If they found a way to keep her subdued they might be using her powers to keep the upkeep of sumeru and have kusinali as a vessel for their controlling. I wonder if maybe the rot(I can’t remember what it’s called omg) is being caused by ruk in her weakened state almost as a cry for help. Though I think kusinali is really an archon ruk may have only lost her position to kusinali through her containment and drainage of powers. I believe kusinali is good and has good intentions and that she really is more of a puppet to the sages. (Maybe a tie in with scaramouche also being a puppet and not feeling in control?) I’m not sure if any of that made sense and please comment with more ideas or corrections! Edit already: I forget to mention how I think the desert people are seen as bad when in reality they are just trying to see the sages fall and the return of their god of the woods. They seem to know that something is off about the whole situation and it reminds me of how the fatui are framed to us as enemies when their true intentions may be to save us all.
I agree on the voıce part. The Kusanalis voice is incredibly high-pitched even among the child characters so if there's no edit on it, she cannot be it. But also remember the woman on our side from the promotional video she disappears in a moment and when we turn there is Kusanali. Maybe Kusanali disguises herself as the woman to stay with us and say these words in the woman's form. It cant be Rukkhadevata because the entire story is about how the sages can't get over her death and reject Kusanali in the process. They all simp over her, trust me. Other than that it can be either Nilou because they sound alike but we need more context.
I’m working on a theory that Kusanali is the secret love child of Rukk and the Crimson King. I believe there was something going on between them that wasn’t publicly disclosed
"Worshipping" or "doing something to make our gods/goddesses happy" is a normal concept in Hinduism. It has nothing to do with the age of the deity. Another example you must have heard is the "Rain dance". People used to dance to please the gods of rain so that it rains on their land. It's not some juvenile thing to do, that's a very disrespectful comment to make. That said, I do agree with the overall theory, I have a feeling this theory will be correct.
I think the seed or what, the thing what gives you the "knowledge of the gods" will be used by that man we saw in the trailer while switching the scenes between gone-mad automatons and a guy walking in a questionable state towards/in the crowd, like the two of them would be connected and the machine's pov certainly gave off some "oopsie got a virus" feel to it, if they are connected the guy might've used it and it somehow ended up causing both of their craziness. Like in a "the knowledge were too much for him to bear so he got crushed over its weight loosing his mind or free will" way. That item also looks pretty similar to the withered seed we got from the Chasm's "Sumeru-connected" depth just in a vitalized shape. I know this isn't directly connected to the Sumeru-is-fake part and I'm sorry about it but I thought it's worth to share perhaps xD
I can easily debunk this by just saying that the withering has been recorded for about a 1000 year as mentioned in the trailer, and the god of wisdom is only 500 year olds...?
I dont think all of lush green sumeru is mirage. From gameplay point of view, i dont think making a whole region as a mirage is practical. There are still many missing pieces to create a full picture. The god of dessert part of sumeru, a.k.a scarlet king, seems to be returning probably. Also, if you have played the latest archon quest, you know that we never actually see kusanali in her physical form ever. But i dont think she will be a villain like character. Hell she even finds hard to understamd human emotion. So i dont think she is suffering from any inferiority complex from previous dendro archon. That voice of "World... forget me" feels more like the voice of previous dendro archon. As for the burning tree, i think the trailer may be misguiding us and its more like we will have to burn down that tree ourself to stop whatever calamity is to come (my guess is something to do with akasha). Lastly, we know with 99% certainty that fatui will get their hands on the sumeru gnosis as well and we also know that dendro gnosis is a link or origin to the akasha. So most likely akasha and the tree is going down at the end of sumeru.
I have a theory that probably isn't true but nevertheless, I think Sumeru city is indeed a mirage but not the entire rainforest. It is a city built around a huge tree. In the trailer we see as Nilou dancing everything starts to fade away and in the next shot, we see Traveler standing before the Irminsul tree. I think under the mirage of the city, lives Irminsul tree connected to Rukkhadevatas consciousness the same consciousness powering the Akademiyas resources (Akasha terminal). And the bad guys trying the expose it and burn it to the ground as Dottore did in the Fatui trailer. (He said he's committing "blasphemy" which means "insulting a religion" which further proves my point)
Wait, I forgot! the Akasha terminal is said to be powered by Gnosis. So Gnosis is in the Irminsul tree(they wouldn't give it to the Kusanali because she is competent enough in the eyes of the sages) and Dottore will burn the tree and take the gnosis but that won't matter because Kusanali doesn't need it to rule Sumeru. Sages will learn to trust her, happy ending.
@@lawrencequilangit312 honestly thats not how you pronounce his name in arabic, seriously some genshin VA's already butcher some Liyue pronounciation what makes you think they wont butcher Sumeru names? Collei's VA pronounce it as "tie-nari" which is incorrect, the way u pronounce the letter "i" in english isnt the same as in arabic. So the more accurate pronouncuation would be "tig-h-nari" like the way u pronounce the the "i" is like saying "e" in english and the 'h' is not silent
