It's a summery of stage 20. D was the best in TT, again. D was also the best at the Giro 2017. He is also riding alone vs team Sky (same in the Giro). What if he didn´t had ride the Giro and he didn´t had a broken wheel where he lost 52 seconds? What if D didn't have a sticker on his butt called G? Those final little butt sticker jumps were low. But little G has won so congratulations. (Ok call me frustrated ;o)

Thomas is British TT champion, hence the nice paint job on the bike. Also he finished 2nd in the world TT with Froome finishing 3rd. It was an amazing stage because it was the top 3 TT riders in the world going the the stage win Tom just sneaking that second though!

I give attention to their health status in older age, as it's to be expected that some organ damage lowers the quality of a life. Having run into skiers (both alpine and x-c) in their 90s and over, as well as climbers, I just don't see dropping 10 to 20 years of life for bragging rights to other humans about their past, as worth it. Having even found that injuries have a conscious anger component in the moment, and paying the price for having made such choices with chronic injuries, I'd counsel that joy in every present is the best trophy. Fame, like money, is farce. What matters is only this moment. You are already high, being alive.

Big legs don't win races anymore, look at all the "big leg" riders who couldn't make the time cut in the Alps. Guess I'll see you next year on thr TV riding the tour

Dylchen exactly with the elimination of Steroids , EPO and more mandatory testing off season you will not see monsters like Indurain who was a lean machine then bulked up like a horse lol. Watch the Indurain time trial where he makes Armstrong look like an amateur. It is good at they are doing with split times now. This eliminates many riders who are there for small prizes only and sponsorships. The new Tour riders will become smaller , learner and times will be slowing down it's not a big deal and proves my Doping theory to a T that all the riders in the past with massive legs were Doping . Sorry but track style legs are not going to go up mountains that easily. I am more of a time trial track style legs. After 80 km of pushing to the max speed I call it a day. So no I could not race 200 km stages not with my current body. I would have to lose 25 lbs in order to be in the same weight class as the top riders. But I would lose my track style legs bulk...
