The summer of 2019 through to winter was my first year of gardening on the property. The land is tough as it is rocks packed together or solid clay. It took hours just to dig a planting hole! I added lots of compost and organic matter. It has been so worth the effort and by the end of 2019 I had a basic garden layout and I knew the direction I wanted to continue in.
