I used to go to Wallis Sands Beach in the early 1970's while stationed at Pease AFB. and parking was only 50 cents, now $15.00, but free for elderly and handicapped. Later, in 1971, myself and 2 other officer friends moved to Perkins Rd in a rental house near Jenness Beach. That was really nice. Yokens Restaurant nearby was nice too, as is still the Dinnerhorn near Portsmouth, and Newicks near Dover.
Rhode Islander here. My family and I frequent Conway for vacating, and we got to check out the Attitash Resort; specifically the Alpine Slide in 2020. Unfortunately, the Alpine Slide was closed with other summer activities (in 2021 for maintenance), and after a quick search, it sounds like there's still some work to be done with renovating the Alpine Slide, Zipline Tour, etc.
