I wanted to comment all the time (on practically everything! lol) while listening to your show last night (one day later after it went out live) but I was multi tasking and now of course forgot a lot of what I was going to comment about, though it could be good brain training for me to try and remember most of what I was going to say without going back to listen to your show again! (Speaking of forgetting things due to fogginess, lol, and speaking of being a middle aged woman, yes, that's me too! 52 in August. But I've always been quite foggy, lol, but I probably am getting marginally more foggy in some capacity, but maybe less foggy and more mature and wise in some other capacity, lol, so I feel it kind of balances out at this age at least. ) 1. Lamy2000. Lori you must give the Lamy2000 in fine another chance!! Like Vanessa said you must try a nice wet ink! Iroshizuku or even Lamy? Do you really not like the nib? I mean I don't have one, and what's held me back is the piston filling thing, cause I find that very daunting, and I gather that the lamy2000 has a very small ink window. I would feel more comfortable with a TWISBI type of thing although I'm also holding off any piston filler as of yet. Thinking of dipping my toes in by going with TWSBI Go! Ah and I' have my eye on the Nahrvalur however you spell that, the clear demonstrator type,I think its the Original Plus? Also I can't really experiment or spend a lot at all due to time and money constraints right now, but if money wasn't an issue I'd have all the different nib Lamy2000 haha! Pens and Tea loves her Lamy2000. So many women love it, not just men! Gee if money wasn't an issue I'd have so many pens in so many nibs sizes! I'd also be watching still more pen, ink, stationary, journaling reviews! Ok time constraint. Must get on with some tasks now. Hopefully will get back asap, to continue.

Awe, I feel ya! My boyfriend just says 'It doesn't mean anything to me' when I show him a fountain pen' and I try to explain how great it is. He's not even curious to try it out. I mean he has very briefly, but he's quite happy with scribbling his to do lists and notes with any old ball point. I suppose he has no need for any journaling, so no need for any sustained writing experience. ;) ENJOY YOUR BIRTHDAY and MONTH and PENS!
