This was a fun haul, Amanda! So many pretty things. I can't wait to see more of how you style them! I'm thinking of trying to incorporate a bit of lemon decor this year, at least in my kitchen area. My entire house is white, deep navy blue, and bright red. I have navy blue rugs everywhere, and a lot of my furniture is painted either navy blue or white. My absolute favorite possession is an antique pie safe that has been painted bright red (my favorite color). I have very few patriotic motifs; it's the red, white, and navy colors that draw me in. I love everything I have, but it's challenging bringing other colors into the mix. Anyway, I'm going to see what I can do with a few lemon pieces, so I can't wait to see what you do with yours. Decorating with red, white, and blue is so fun! I love my patriotic decor but this is definitely one of those years where choices have to be made. I’ve loved blue and yellow together for years. My room growing up was those colors so I don’t know if I could ever totally abandon the color scheme. 😊 Thanks for watching, Robin and being such a great friend! 🍋💙
Hi Amanda, you picked up some very pretty items. I love the blue with the lemons, I think it's so pretty for summer. The blue plaid throw was beautiful. I like plaid also. It just goes for every season. Those long green stems were so pretty and full. We don't have a Homegoods here in our area, I wish we did because it does seem like they have a lot of pretty items. I loved the greenery in the brown pot. That was gorgeous. It is starting to warm up here in Ky. We are suppose to have upper 70's and low 80's next week so I need to get on the ball and get my summer decor. Sorry for how long this comment is so take care honey. 🍋🌿🌼💛
No need to apologize for the long comment! I love reading them, Daphne. Homegoods is very hit or miss, I find, because it really does depend on what stock they can get. Some years I buy hardly anything and some years I love everything! 😂 This has definitely been a good year so far! Those warm temperatures sound amazing! Oh my goodness, I bet! I wish I could send you some of our mild temperatures for a few more weeks! We’ve been hovering in the high 50s with some 60s on the way. Looking like it’s heating up slowly but surely here! Summer weather isn’t really consistent here until late June/July but it lasts through September usually. Thank you so much for watching! 😊💙🍋

Thank you! I've always been drawn the color combo of blue and yellow but I've really neglected building up my summer decor stash. It was definitely time to show it a little more love! 💙 My family is in Lincoln and I spent most of my life there from upper elementary all the way through college. Proud Cornhusker here! 😊
