I did the same with my curtains. I tied the two side curtains back with ribbon. I love it. It softened the square look. ❤ Love you and your video's

Oh Monica what a wonderful and refreshing video. I love everything you did. The strawberry theme is perfect and I think the valence looks perfect as is. It doesn't cover up too much of the window. The two rooms just seem to be singing summer is finally here so enjoy enjoy. Great job.

The kitchen curtains are valances and cafe curtains. Cafe curtains usually go from the midpoint of the window, to the bottom of your lower sill. It’s whatever you like. I love those sponges.

The addition of colour sure makes a difference doesn't it? The curtains I would shorten from the top to make it a valance all the way across the top. If you shorten from the top, it will be done quicker and you will have the blue trim all the way across. Unfortunately, now it does look like you hung the cafe curtains from the valance and not good. Love that bowl! And, how neat to find the sponges too!

Omg the strawberry wreath turned out so beautiful, I absolutely love it. I almost thought about doing strawberry decor in my kitchen but did lemons this year. The curtain looks so cute. I have this pattern too and enjoy it. I like the curtain but I think a short valance would visually be better. You have a lovely window with view, less is more in my opinion. But I do think everything you do is lovely and you are too.

Beautiful. If you can try a spring form rod in the center and move down your panels to see how that looks. I know you don’t have window panes but was suggesting or just have the balance -and shorten the panels

Personally I'd trim the long section of the curtains to the same size as the valence. Attach the blue trim from the cut peices to finish. Still looks lovely though Also love your wreath🍓🌼🌿 xx
