Love how many different looks you show us! Your narration helps point things out to me that I would otherwise miss. I'm an older (69 year old) apple body shape so I appreciate the variety of body shapes you present. My shopping list from this video includes: a straw bad, white dress, midi skirt, and white linen blend shorts. Any tips on where to buy linen blend short that have a longer leg (to just above the knee). The ones I'm finding are too short. thank you. San Diego loves you!

Just so you know the one I was wearing in the video is from Shein, and if you have not ever purchased anything from them, I had better tell you. If you make an order with them, you will likely not keep 10% of what you order. The quality is very unreliable. You don't know from one day to the next what kind of quality you are getting. Happy Anniversary 🎉 I just wore my white jeans this week, and I'm wearing my white eyelet midi to church tomorrow. I purchased some blueing from Amazon. Good morning from Ohio Michelle. First of all, Happy Anniversary! Another great and entertaining video. I love the below the knee skirt ideas. I usually wear them at the knee. Actually, I wore nothing but skirts and dresses until I was 38. I wear jeans most of the time except for church, but I will say I miss the femineity of a dress or skirt. Got out the habit because it seemed easier to throw on jeans. I do still like to look feminine when jeans are paired with a nice top. Question? I am only 5'1". What is a good length below the knee for someone who is short like me? You looked great in your dresses as always. Have a blessed day and enjoy your anniversary.❤ It goes by so fast. My wonderful husband and I have been married 48 years now. We were just babies, but it's been a great life! 💯

Depending on what your preference is for length, and it also depends on if you have longer legs or shorter legs. It also depends on how wide our legs are, because if the shorts hit at our widest point then that is less flattering. I don't remember if I have sent you any links to my LTK but here is the link for many pairs of shorts of all lengths, sizes and price points. Often times it is just easier to order a bunch and send back what doesn't work. Or if you are near good shopping (I am not....... highly agitating) go try on every fit and cut you can find. Also congratulations on the 48, goodness, you look amazing!!! I need to know your skin care secrets. Jeff and I met on a blind date 31 years ago in July.

In my 50s, I like to dress with a modern twist rather than too classic and ladylike. I mix & match elevated jackets and jeans for example. One thing I've updated this year is the fit of t-shirts and dresses, I am going for a skimming/slightly more slouchy feel, so no tight t-shirts or body-con style dresses as they are not flattering if you have a tummy. So shift dresses, A-line skirts, etc. I avoid pieces with too much material and very oversize. I aim for simple modern Parisian chic
