Great job! This area looks much better! I don't like tiger lilies and removed many of them from our yard. I did have to dig up the roots and tubers to keep them from growing again the next year.
Hmmm…..I also have the standard line-up of compacta hollies….along with those sneaky Sweet Gum saplings. One shrub is part dead (planted 2003 when the house was built) and the look is quite awful. Orange is my fave color and I loved those tiger lilies for the hour and a half they were in bloom in my garden. They have encircled my ‘Tokoyo Tower’ fringe tree and were, in turn, surrounded by variegated liriope. I rather liked that 3 level effect with the height of the tiger lilies even when not blooming. I will heed your warning and remove a few this year. 👍🏻 So much rain. So many weeds! Hey! My “Brie Inspired” fast seed toss after weed pulling has resulted in 5 day germination. Yay for buckwheat and arugula! Sometimes we listen to you….🤣🤣🐈
