I go to Spain every year. The more I go, the less I take with me. Last year, for a 10 days holiday, i took 2 dresses, a pair of shorts and 2 T-shirts (swimsuit too, of course). And that was it. Will I pack less this year? Probably.

I've been following you for a while and watched lots of your videos. I really miss the time when you shared tips on styling, how to style belts, shoes, how portion works, etc. Now I feel like every video has paid promotion added, and I'm tired of them. There's nothing wrong with making money from your channel, and I know you worked hard for that, but I can't not help feeling like every time I watch your videos, I am being sold or watched an advertisement video, not an educated one as before.

I did a ‘lessons with Lydia’ styling tips video, the one before that was my a what I wore in a week, the one prior to that was ‘quick fire tips’ and then the one before what was ‘mastering secrets to a smart casual wardrobe’. That’s a month of non-sponsored videos, in the ‘styling’ format you’re asking for, so I’m wondering if you’ve missed all of these! As well as all my shorts which I post almost daily which are not sponsored. This is my full time job and I take such pride in the fact that incredible international brands want to work with me!!! I’m so proud to represent this beautiful, female founded brand, and I’m so proud of the fact that I have carved my own space in the fashion industry. I take my sponsors seriously and regularly turn down work with brands that don’t feel right, or if I don’t like the product. I dreamed of working in the fashion industry when I was young, possibly as a journalist, but the industry has shifted so much that traditional jobs are almost obsolete. This industry works because we build that more informal, trusted relationship with people and I love that more personal interaction. Fashion is a huge female-led industry that we should all be proud of! I would not be able to put out all of this content without working with brands so I’m sad that you say this. Everything I put on RU-vid is completely free and optional for you to watch, so if you don’t like 1 in 6 videos simply because I work with a brand, then that’s okay because you can just watch the next one. I hope you manage to see all the recent styling videos I’ve been talking about!!

I love the fact that I can actually buy one or two of the pieces and add them to my wardrobe. These are beautiful and functional clothes that I will get a lot of wear from. Finding these all on my own is too much time and energy and if you love her style (as I do) this is invaluable. Like having a stylist for free. Thank you Lydia!!
