Jordan + Jasmine Situation (kinda long): Jordan is an attention seeking, bishy mean girl. I just finished S1 last week and started s2 (so that I could be up to date & watch S2, EP 3 that came on after the show that making my nerves bad). Last season, Jordan expressed to Jasmine that she didn't understand the person that she seeing. Jasmine explained to her that she was struggling because she wanted to be the person that she thought a wife should be (the person she presented to Silas during Covid) and she was, essentially, losing herself. While in the house, she got glimpses of her old self and she wanted to find a way to get it back. Jordan told her that she wanted her to open to and let them in so that they know what's going on. Jasmine agreed. Immediately after that, Jordan asked Jasmine what she thought she could improve on as a friend (since they were in that mindset at the time). Jasmine told her that she knows that she always calls to check up on them but she wants them to reciprocate more; so check up on her. Jordan agreed. They left the season on one accord. Even when they watched the show back, they would be able to see what Jasmine was battling in that house. Between herself and Silas, homegirl needed a friend. So, that should have been enough of an initiative to pick up the phone and call her. S/N: low-key, I think that Jordan is jealous of the fact that, even though Jasmine worked for Playboy and she was homeless, she didn't have the stigma attached to it and she was still able to end up in a secure (financially) situation by being someone's wife. Jordan seems to carry some shame that came with Playboy (even though she mentioned it so much 🙄) and she blames that for the reason why people are objectifying her (let's forget her IG pics cause that's what she wants us to do 🙄) but that didn't happen to Jasmine and she probably can't understand why. Even after filming ended and it aired, Jordan still didn't pick up the phone. Jasmine reached out (so she kept her end of the bargain) but Jordan did not. Instead, she latched herself onto the other "single" cast members and iced out Jasmine (the only married one in the group). Jordan wants her to open up and tell her all her business but she don't want to reach out and talk to her. That's unfair. Jordan LITERALLY said in her confessionals that she didn't invite Jasmine cause "everyone can't go" (and she thought it was cool) but when they didn't get an invite from Alex... It was a problem 🙄 So, it's fine when they do things to Jasmine but she (and Summer) was upset when it's done to her 🙄 She was probably never Jasmine's friend and she used her marriage as an excuse to back off
Yea the marriage thing is an excuse. And like you said and we all saw they left off last season with it squashed. I think that Jordan looks down on Jasmine because she was homeless and not considered as conventionally beautiful as Jordan is but still was able to get married (and Jasmine did hold it over Jordan’s head probably out of Jasmine’s own insecurity which was trash but again they squashed it) and host this show on Bravo and be the nucleus. So Jordan has been trying to center herself every chance she gets as a f-u to Jasmine. They are frienemies at this point and I really think they need to let it go 🙃
You said it all! I totally agree. I've experienced firsthand when single friends distance themselves after you get married. It happened to me and my behavior didn't change at all, but I had friends who assumed my life was now perfect since I have a husband. I didn't even get invited to brunch anymore! Unfortunately some friends are only for a season.
I feel like Jordan never liked Jasmin to begin with, and finding any excuse to exclude her, bring Mariah back cuz Jasmin really need a friend this season 😩😪

Jordan a fake one. You can’t expect your friend to be exactly the same when they are going through a major change. Jasmine was Florida Evan’s life, out here scratching and surviving and found a man that she happy with. If she was a real one she’d offer grace. Truthfully, Jordan gave jealousy bc jasmine was the nucleus last yr. Oh, loved the new girl and the chick head over heels for Alex need to let it go.

My best friend did that. 6 years later and she has finally came back around to finding herself outside of her marriage. I think as a friend, we tend to learn how to give people space to adjust to their new life.

The amount of times I rewatched 23:45 is just sickening. When Bria called Preston a bitch ass, I lost it. 😂 Bria be getting on my last nerves but the girl and theatrics are hilarious.
Everyone was critical of Jazmin last season but when you marry young and after really LIVING you have to adjust. That can naturally be a bit of an identity crisis for a minute. If Jordan was a friend she would have extended her “friend” some grace in her new role of trying to find herself as a wife. When I got married my friends did that for me and I still have single friends, relationship unchanged. They have adapted to me as a wife and mother and they respect that. And Silas being an a-hole should’ve really made them rally around her even more. IF they were her friends!
100% agree with you on the hooking up part! once you start texting all day and calling and hanging out and literally doing relationship stuff that’s when shit gets messy! keep it as the hey you up text, pull up, give thanks and go! lmao
Let me just say this: if my friends are the same as 10,5 or 1 year ago I’m going to distance myself because they not about progression and that’s a setback for me and my growth. Jordan I think is jealous that Jasmine got married before her. She has that “pretty girl” syndrome and think the world revolves around her. And how last season her title was “model” and now this season it’s “DJ” 🤨 Preston family dynamics is the same plot to the Prime Video show “Riches” EXACTLY!!! 👀
I’m glad ur reviewing it cus I don’t care for the show but enjoy ur reviews. They are far too childish for me. Last season it was the disrespect toward the young ladies spiritual practice this season it’s bullying somebody about how they dress 🙄
Sometimes I think Jordan sees Jasmine as being a “stepford wife” - when it seems like she might have been playing “wild girl” when she was really seeking stability? I don’t think it’s Silas - ugh. But because my homeless and unsure can cause you to seek a life of stability and sureness.
Rodney I was waiting for your review. I do agree that Jasmine and Jordon are not being honest to each other so until they do this the conversation ain’t going anywhere. I do see Jasmine screaming for help because now she got two babies at home 😅😂 I do think Jordon is probably done with this “friendship” and don’t want to admit it 🎉🎉
Her energy seems the polar opposite of Gizelle though (thank gosh) for instance. That scene where Alex shut her down, I literally said Gizelle would have had a “does he know who I am and what I look like” energy whereas Noelle ate it and moved on. She hasnt been acting funky so I think shes good (Gizelle was aint shit since episode one lol)
I went on more girl trips after I got married than before. Jasmine using a title as hierarchy is why she’s lonely. Bet if her husband wasn’t deployed he wouldn’t have gone on trips 😂

Summer and Noelle are both crazy...smh Noelle played herself on national television, like ya'll just met, girl. Summer has been conquered, and she doesn't understand that. Amir punk a$$ still gets on my nerves...Amir wrote, "black girls scare me". But you sitting in a confessional talking about your white girlfriend gonna hang you by your foot...🙄..but you smiling while saying that. The only person I like is Preston, that's it. Maybe, Nick.
