Freakin' awesome! I do feel the truth in Ms. Andreoli's opinion, but Tat is one of the physically strongest on tour, and those two have known each other for what - some 20+ years. When you get a thoroughbred, you let her run.
I feel so bad for the male dancer, when he's as wonderful a dancer as Arjay, and he gets a partner who think she's so teriffic (ha!) that she has to take over the lead! Somtimes the crowd laughs, but here's one person that, feels cheated--because ARJAY ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING, AND IF THE GAL FOLLOWS HIS LEAD IT ALWAYS ENDS UP A SUPER TREAT FOR ALL. slo-d-
It's called hijacking which is allowed. Each dancer has their own style that they like to show off which is also the point of the a Jack and Jill. Both did an amazing job and Tatiana is a fantastic and eccentric dancer. The point is for each dancer to show off each others skills. Arjay did an amazing job leading and it was a great partnership for a Jack and Jill.
Chantelle Thibodaux I disagree. Yes, hijacking is allowed, but Tatiana does it all the time and pretty extensively in pretty much all of her JnJs... She’s overdoing it to the point where a lot of the times the lead is thrown off.
You feel bad for Arjay? Tatiana has won multiple jack and Jill's, and Arjay only a few times. She clearly knew the song better, and was helping him. It is due to her abilities that they did so well. He was happy with what she did, his face clearly shows it. He knows that you need two great performers to win, not just one.
We also don’t know where the connection may have been lost between them and felt that a recovery was needed. That was very fun to watch, swinging is one thing....entertaining the crowd while taking risks and really having fun during the dance is something else
