I too was in IIM ROHTAK internship representing jammu and kashmir youth. It was overall great experience. I loved the mentors attraction and mentor was soo good Pooja Patnaik ma'am i loved how she explained each and every thing. Director sir was also very good and i stayed there for one month i.e 11th june 2022 to 11th july 2022 and mess food was awesome 👍😅❤️

I was provided with a good stipend, with which I could easily survive in Bandra Mumbai.

what if we got backlog in our semester exams in iims,they won't let us sit in placement and i am sure their sem exams also are though like CAT,is it possible to score good marks for average students?

Yes, you can score good because only 60% weightage is given written exam and rest 40% is for Class participation, projects and individual submission. So usually students don’t fail because of academics.

they take a lot of time to give PPO after summer internship, sometimes even after the final placement they give "PPO" which is supposed to come before placements

Do we have the flexibility of choosing the desired company or sector in summer internships? And how did you find accomodation? Was it very difficult finding an accomodation?

Yes, you can apply for a company on your own discretion. Whereas, finding difficultly in accommodation depends on the type of city you do your SIP.
