Hello Robin! I love thrift and antique haul videos. The green canisters are so beautiful. I’ve seen them in antique stores in Mid Century Modern vignettes or booths that have a lot of that decor. I guess that’s why I’ve passed them up. I’m sure you will make them look amazing. Full disclosure - I had to look up how to spell VIGNETTE. Who knew there was a “G”?

You found so many neat items. I love the biscuit/cookie cutters especially. When i was in my mid 20's my mom brought me a country living magazine & after that i was hooked on old items -- that was 37 yrs ago. But when i was 18 my paternal grandmother wanted my mom to paint her hutch for her. I remember sitting there & thinking (to myself) what a piece of junk. Years later after my grandmother had passed away, my pappaw wanted me to have it (i was the only grandaughter) and my dad brought it to me. I have painted in different colors over the years. It takes center stage in my dining room now & I could buy a bigger or better hutch or china cabinet but I absolutely love this vintage hutch & have no intention of replacing it.

I was the same way Robin wanting everything new. It got to the point where it seemed that everyone had the same items. I absolutely love antique hunting and incorporating the items into my decor. Green is my color with all of the neutrals I use, I love those canisters!

There are so many things I remember from my grandma Conner's house that bring me joy! And the measuring cups are really pretty! I can't wait to see your vintage Summer coffee bar🥰

That is a nice hall Robin! I love the colored glass canisters. A few years ago when I was setting up my apartment, I went to the Salvation Army and I found 2 candy dishes. When was the green color like your canisters and the other one is so that Amber Gold color. I absolutely love them. I tend to sit them out in the fall because I like to decorate with our terminal colors. The amber glasses my favorite. Those canisters are really nice. That green and gold, etc. was really the thing in the 60s and 70s. I definitely remember seeing things at my grandmother‘s house.

I am also 55 and both my grandmothers have passed they were complete opposites in their homes but I love seeing things that remind me of each one love your finds❤️

Love the items you got. The mug tree I had but it was white when I got married. I love the old stuff and new stuff. I have always been drawn to antiques, anything that looks old, rusty and crusty. Loved the video and anxious to see how you style it all.

Hello Miss Robin... I just happened to see your Video pop up ,and I wax interested to see how you fared with your Shopping.. 🙂! I actually have the same Canisters , .they came in a Set of Four ,and the Pattern is known as " Moon and Stars" by L E Smith, I believe. ..my Set is in the Amber glass,I picked them up at an Estate Sale at least 7 years ago ,for $ 25 .00 for a set of 3. One of them was missing, but I did not mind. I use them in my kitchen as Utensil Hokders, as I rarely drink Coffee,and I have a different clear glass container for my Tea. So I wanted to " use these ".... not just have them for Display purposes. They are beautiful, from the late 60s/ eatky 70's I believe. The set I have actually sells for around 165 $, depending on the condition..mine are in excellent condition, but I will not sell them lol. I thought you might like to know these are beautiful collectible Canisters and I hope you enjoy them ! The little creamer trimmed in black... so cute.
