The lack of color saturation just makes it look like an evening or night delivery. YT will never know. You keep on doing what you are doing, Sandi! You are the best!.
Couldn't say it better! The power of Sandi's and mama's love helps the lambies survive the birthing process. FAST and Furious, once again. Might get a nice break before you get back into field work.😊
Is there a reason or name for lambs being born backwards? I've been watching you for years and other sheep channels and it seems you are getting alot of backwards lambs than you used to? Maybe keep a record of ewes that have backwards lambs and see if they are having the same issue each time. The ones that are lambing outside do have some backwards lambs but doesn't seem to be such a count. I don't know I may be talking out of my ass, but it's very interesting to me. If a ewe keeps having backwards lambs is there something wrong with her canal. It may be you show almost every lamb being born and that's why it seems so many when it is not. It's nothing on you ! just wondering plz don't take it the wrong way. Love your channel and how you love the lambs❤and your sheep!
When that baby was following after you, just yelling was so cute. Anything you post and I'm able to click right to the video brightens my entire day. Thank you as always for sharing and bringing all of us along for your journey. You're always so gentle and can see the love for all of your animals. Thanks again Sandi!!
I was thinking it sounded like mom, mom, mom, too and the little legs were flying trying to keep up with Sandi. It's amazing how such little things like that can brighten a mood and make you smile!
Sandi, I know that it hurts your heart when one that you tried so hard to save passes. One RU-vid creator that I follow often says that where you have livestock, you also have dead stock. It's a fact of farming and ranching that a lot of viewers don't understand or appreciate. Thank you for showing the reality of life.
@@vwvw4 Clearly you have never heard about "the circle of life". This saying works for all mammals. Otherwise we all would live on for eternity as well as our animal friends.
I use CC all the time. Sandi's barn has so much background noise w/the sheep & the birds. When Cammy speeds up, I'd be lost without CC (tho' the AI bot translates funny, too) 💕💕
A lot of people don’t realize that animals are “speaking” all the time - constantly through body language. We might think they’re being “weird” or “silly” - but they (mostly) are doing things for a reason. So great how well you listen to them! I am sure you’ve saved countless lives as a result! Fantastic job - as always. Such a joy to watch your work.
Thank you for being the bright spot on my hard days. As a nurse on an oncology floor I'm so grateful for you and Jess and your family sharing your journey as well as all the precious baby lambs. The crop videos make me smile too. Your videos are amazing
A day without Sandi is like a day without sunshine! Sandi and sunshine on the same day is wonderful! I have followed you since before 2023, and I have noticed how much your stress has reduced, and it makes me happy for you! Love to all. ❤❤❤❤
You posted 1 HOUR ago and already over 6500 views!! Sandi just remember how much we all love watching your videos. Never let the few who cannot just let it be and leave you to your happy place❤
You have to wonder about the type of people who don't think birthing of any mammal comes with blood and other fluids. Why would they watch and then complain and worse, report channel owners.
It’s odd- I watch other channels with plenty of the red stuff (surgeries, etc), but it seems like the bigger the channel gets, the more problems YT has with it.
@@karenturner-wensel9536- Wish we had a way to make "the voice" in our comments. You know, the deep growly voice or the really super high pitched, squeaky voice. 😂😂😂😂❤
Thank you so much Sandi for ALL the HARD WORK you do with the editing to satisfy "them". I do appreciate it. It is nice to be able see nature happenings. MUCH L❤Ve! 🐑
LAMBAPALOOZA!! I'm actually happily surprised Sandi didn't have more preg tox ewes with all these multiples!. She must have got their feed right in time! 💕💕
Beautiful explanation of your lambing Sandi! Glad you have a tiny break plus time to think through what each situation means and what you can do with each one. Thanks for all you do for your sweet lambs!
You are the Wonder Women of the North!!! Helping deliver all day and way into the night, then editing and putting out vids for us. WHEW!!!! GOD BLESS YOU !!! ❤❤❤
Thank you for explaining how often each ewe is bred. And how matter of factly you deal with each stillborn. Although it can come off as somewhat callous, you have to focus on those living to keep going and there are SO many of those! 🐑🐑🐑 Love watching what you do. Thank you for sharing your life's work with us! ❤
Interesting to hear the logic behind your 4x a year to 3x a year switch. When you finish a whole year with this new plan, go back and look at all your data: number of lambs for each ewe, stillborns, preg tox or other issues, and of course compare your input costs . Most farmers only have one lambing period per year, so your flock is already significantly different. Plus, you’ve found an excellent way for your wool to be valued, instead of just being a commodity like in the UK.
I hope Sandi finds a good massage therapist. As a retired nurse w/aging aches & pains, when Sandi says her hand is numb, I'm thinking about her shoulders, her back & her legs, bracing herself to pull those lambs out! 💕💕
I know you hear this a lot, Sandi, but thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. I appreciate the explanation near the end of how you lamb and why you've changed it up a bit this year. It seems the story with your daughter (which was anything but easy) evolved into so many profound changes. What was meant for harm was turned into good. Priorities shifted, and things became more clear as to their importance going forward. You obviously love what you do, and you have a very loving, incredibly hard-working family. May the Lord's blessings increase in all the days ahead. ❤
The corn out the window looks so pretty and fake! Being partly raised in Iowa I love the corn! I too enjoy when you are lambing! With the three times you can catch the preg/toxic better too!
Sandi, you are a very hard worker, you must have a break between lambing, even if you have less income over a year. It is better for you so you can keep going longer in the number of years. Love from Mike. ❤
Oh Sandi, your labor and delivery rooms filled up fast but you brought such joy into this world. I just love watching your lambing times. Also makes me glad that we’re not like sheep and our kids start running around shortly after birth!😂❤❤
💜💜💜 The little lamb born at the 31 min mark totally made me laugh. Like a fish out of water, that little babe just couldn’t get his feet under him. Cutest lambing moment evah! 💜💜💜
You are amazing Sandi! It's clearly hard, busy work but you just make it look easy, and lovely. It's so wonderful to see those babies take their first shake!
Excellent addressing that comment. I've followed you and didn't realize it was once a year in 3 groups. Take care of your health! Without that, well, you know! ❤
I’m glad to hear Sandi is factoring in some quality of life and ‘sometimes sh*t happens’ into her lambing schedule. I wasn’t sure if lambing 3 time a year was just for this year to make room for their trip earlier in the year or the new plan going forward. Glad to hear it the new plan going forward; pretty sure Sandi’s life will still be very busy but maybe this will create the opportunity for more trips in the future or just a tad more down time to deal with everything else life has to offer
Watching the way these lambs are cared for is such a positive feeling as they will be the best product for human consumption. In todays world of worrying about where our food comes from it’s rewarding to see how their treatment confirms the quality of their product on the dinner table. Thank you for providing quality meat.
Cutting back a little on the amount of lambs I believe will benefit every area. Very wise choice. We may view fewer lambing’s but they will be beautiful!
As an advid Watcher, you do what ever is easiest for you when it comes to making the RU-vid gods happy, b I will say that I prefer the black and white over the blurring. ❤❤ At least we can see everything that's going on, and that's why I'm here and I'm sure so are most of us. Love you Sandi and family. YOU ROCK WOMAN❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I can sure see how the stealers can really mess things up! Is it just me or are there more stealers than usual. That little guy at the end so determined to stand won my heart ❤️
It happens more when a big group of them are all lambing in the same 24-48hrs. As their instincts often start kicking in 24-72hrs BEFORE they actually lamb.
Sandi, towards the end of the video when you said, "why always at supper time" I LITERALLY laughed & said out loud, Sandi you know your sheep love you & don't want you to leave them. They have set a timer for coffee time, lunch time, supper time & bed time so that they can all work together to keep you in the barn. LOL. When you see 2 or 3 together & it looks like they're helping each other to lamb .... that's not it at all. They are scheming to keep you there.
Another sweet, but challenging vlog, Sandi. They're just coming on like gangbusters now! 😄 Rest as much as you can, Sandi. This was very sweet, ty. Love ya ❤️~ Jo
OMG, that little lamb at 2:50 is just the cutest thing! The fact that it just went through the gap was funny. We are have my mom move in with us and her dog is a ShihTzu just like ours but built totally differently, hers is tall and skinny and ours is regular size and “big boned”. We put a little fence across our porch to shut them on there when they’re out with us and there’s about a 2-3 inch gap where the fence meets the edging on the wall. Mom’s little miss, Scarlet, just squeezed through it and followed me like the fence wasn’t there or wasn’t meant for her. 😂watching that lamb run after Sandy I realized Scarlet looks like she could fit right in with the lambs. She is mostly cream with blond ears and her head is curly like she has some poodle in her but she’s all Shih Tzu. I think I’m going to start calling her Lammy instead of squirt or monkey. 10:55 that little lamb is so cute, I hope it’s a girl. At about 29:00 Scarlet was sleeping on my lap and woke up and was very interested in what was going on. She does like to watch tv with my mom, none of mine have been interested in tv. She was intently focused and would creep closer until her nose was almost on my tablet, we’ll see what she does when I watch the next video. That just solidified that her nickname is now Lammy.
Bless you for taking your mom & pup in!❤ I had a Shih Tzu too that did funny things. She used to just PLOP herself on the floor with legs in every direction.😂 Sadly she has passed but her memories still bring a smile to my face remembering her silly antics.💞
Just wanted to add that's it's so cool to think about how much new life you get to see doing this. The creation of life is just so amazing and to be such a huge part of it is really inspiring. You're such a natural nurturer
Right after Teddy was being chased and the other was being chased, the mama who had her baby I swear I thought it was two at the same time! I know it wasn’t, but I looked and realized it was just her utter, lol! Sandi is so generous with her training and skills as a shepherd and farmer! Thank you!!!
Hi Hi ... Here's an admirer of your channel who just popped up on my RU-vid and has made me an addict of your experiences. As a Tropical Caribbean girl who lives on a Tourist Island (Aruba), it is incomprehensible to me that your channel has fascinated me so much. Your private and farming life impresses me very much. Compassion is accompanied by the necessary emotions. From happiness to sadness. From our marital to maternal feelings. Your profession is a learning experience for me. I don't know you and yet I sympathize with you to the depths of my soul. Thanks for sharing your channel with the world. With love ❤... Lilian or Lilly
Sandi I Love your Videos. Love watching them lamb and the colors. That Lamb escaping and following you yelling Mom Mom was so darn cute. Keep making videos so we can have Cuteness in our lives. Peace from WV
It is really is wonderful to watch and hear the births no matter what color it is. You do such good work. Make sure you step back every once in awhile and just breath. You all take care and stay safe, Gwen from Ohio.
It’s strange that you have to not show red when some pimple popping channels have people looking like they need a blood transfusion after treatment. It doesn’t make sense to me ❤
That little hardy lamb born hit the ground almost running! You need to save that lamb boy or girl! The hardy thriving lambs like that will bring strength to the flock!❤
I think it was in respiratory distress. I was wishing Sandi would try the suction on that one. A relief to see it looking more relaxed in the bonding pen 💕💕
