Very cute new calf. Glad you worry about being safe around calves and cows, you just never know when Mom will get mad. I really enjoy your videos, thanks for making them. Stay safe and healthy Tay.
A new bailer Taylor, great job. After I watch your videos I just want to get outside and get some of my chores done! Thank you for all your exceptional videos! God's Blessings on you, Brent, and all your family.
Every once in awhile, we are confronted with life examples which show the undeniable inter-connection of living beings on this earth. Some of these are mountain top experiences. Tay gently holding his head during the trip to the barn, is one of these. Had to watch that twice.
Hi Taylor, another very enjoyable video. There's something very satisfying when you have a piece of machinery that keeps nagging "clean me" and when you do, there's a certain therapeutic feeling seeing the dirt go and the shine restored. Made a good job of it as in all you do. Loved the flying sandwich. Good aim, good catch. 😊 Thanks MARK uk
Hi Tay, Thanks for the reply. Thanking me for joining you both...? My absolute pleasure. There are a few channels I look forward to, but when I see "Tayfarms" notification, it's a cup of tea( yeh, in the US it'd be coffee) and a chill, half our of quality video. You Keep posting I'll keep watching. Thanks, Mark over in the UK
Just another great video about life on the farm. Your baler looks like a million bucks all cleaned up. You forgot your ear protection while baling. That was a beautiful bull calf. And he was a Biggy. Glad his mom and him are good. That was a lot of hay for such small fields. Good luck and good farming. God Bless. Oh forgot to mention, sure is nice of Brent to bring you food. Can't work on an empty stomach.
Those cows and calf’s come to think of it and Brent .could not have a better Guardian .Tay you’re doing a great job ..THANK YOU! ! And we need YOU and Brent Famers like you guys
Loved the way that you cuddled the little calf in your arms Taylor. You are absolutely brilliant and doing a fantastic job 👏. Please say hello to Brent for us. Kind regards from all of your friends here in Ireland Patrick Brazil 😊❤.
Another awesome video!! That new calf is big! I'm convinced that equipment, cars & trucks and tools all work better after they have been cleaned! Stay safe and try to stay cool!!
Thank you for the great videos and sharing the farming life. Brings back childhood memories for sure, growing up on a small dairy farm in NW Ireland where we all had our role to play/work from a young age. Beautiful cow and new calf, however, if I may suggest that you rethink approaching a newly/ freshly calved cow with her calf. The stories of people getting hurt, or worse by cows protecting their calves has been told for a long, long time and yet we take chances that we shouldn't. I did like that you tried to keep the calf between you and the cow. I wonder if coaxing the cow and let the calf follow would work. Maybe slower, but safer. Again, love your videos, keep them coming, stay safe and healthy. Brent is a great guy!
Another great video. The bailer came out looking brand new. We can tell how much pride you have in your equipment. Be careful in the heat this week. You guys have a good week.
Wow! read the news story you mentioned about the woman in NY that was attending to a newborn calf and was attacked and killed by the mother cow. It made me nervous watching you guys pick up that new calf in front of the mother. She followed you all the way in to the barn. Glad you made it safely. Baler looks magnificent all cleaned up.
It looks like you really enjoy working on the farm. May I suggest that when you pressure wash it is better to start at the top and work down and then you don’t have to do as much respraying as you finish the overall job.
Now that's a calf l would pay premium for! I always wondered why you did not use a shorthorn bull, it is a good dual purpose breed. I enjoy your videos, thanks from Michigan.
Such a beautiful baby calf, my job when I was a kid was to bottle feed the calves😁😁👍🙋♂️🙏🙏🙏🚜🐄. Thank you and Brent for everything you do! Everyone in Northeast Arkansas says hey Taylor 🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Having clean equipment shows some respect for the equipment, and it's ready for the next job. Some farmers not only power wash their tractors but wax them also. As with autos, clean shiny equipment sells better, or a bit better trade in value. Thanks for taking us along baling and power washing!!
I finally got to sit down and watch the video.... And found out my question was answered in the first few minutes 🤦. Don't worry, I got more stupid questions. 🙊
Hi Taylor. Great video, clean baler, some new bales, a great looking calf. Would you consider keeping that bull calf for future use on you farm? With the hot weather headed your way please stay hydrated. 🐄🚜😉
Taylor. I was wondering if it would be easier to leave the wire hooked up that powers the monitor but place a cutoff switch in the line so you don’t have to connect and disconnect the wire everytime you use the baler. Something like a knife switch or a decent cut off switch Just a suggestion 😊
Hello Taylor! You make very nice videos!👍 I am a dairy farmer from Germany Munich, we can't make hay, it's always raining. The press looks like new, sorry my English is a disaster. Until next time, bye!🙋♂️
Hello Taylor. Sorry I'm late, Happy Father's Day to your dad. Its gonna get hot this week please becareful, you and Brent stay cool and not do to much. Take breaks if you have to, be safe my this week my friend.
Hi Taylor, that baler looks great, I started washing the moss off some of the equipment then stopped but after seeing this video I’m going to get back to power washing, thanks for the video
Hi Taylor and Brent just finished watching video it’s beautiful getting cow and baby plus holding calf back barn and Brent making you sandwich as always you both be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I started watching men and women mowing with big mowers and found that I just loved big machines, don't know why I have a fascination for them, but I do. Who knew. lol. Thanks for the upload.
Speaking about your PTO shafts and settings: Owner's Manuals are your Friend. Reading them, keeping them in one box for quick reference for all your machines. So many adjustments and service areas to keep on top of. Farm safe. Wear head phones and gloves. Save your body. Clean equipment = Happy running equipment. A leaf blower to blow out all the internals, blow after washing & Grease after washing. Blowing out after use helps you see if any belts, missing bolts, or joints need attention before failure Hi from rural Hillsboro NH. 👍
Nice job all day. Love your videos. I remember well of the days handling square bales by the hundreds. I have found cleaning mold and general dirt comes off easily if I spay Purple Power on first. Let it set. Then pressure wash. You can get it at NAPA or any parts store.
Hi Taylor really enjoy your videos. I farm with my son on a grain and oilseed farm. I am trying to slow down but can't find anyone like you to work. If you want to move to the great white north. LOL We only put hours like you do in seeding and harvest. You sure do work hard and I see you love those cows.
Can we have some of that rain please? Been 3+ weeks since we've gotten any here and with it being 90-95 every day, things are getting a little crispy, if ya know what I mean. It's human nature to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Seeing how dirty it was and then how clean it became and knowing that YOU did it is a very satisfying feeling. Well done!
Love the videos! I spent 50 years around dairy! You mentioned .."She already cleaned"!! I would bet the large majority of people that watch your show have NO IDEA what that meant! (:(: >>The other thing that you mentioned was not milking out more than the calf needs = People don't know that you are avoiding milk fever) .. I would bet the majority of people don't know a thing about what milk fever is either!
I love your enthusiasm, energy & spirit. Your work and videos just make me happy. Oh and don’t assume that we already know something, many probably do but guys like me who have never farmed but always had a passion for it learn a lot when you explain something. I hope you have a great hot week! Stay well, safe and hydrated! 😂
I don’t know too much about any of this stuff, but it’s great when you really explain things details like how things work, etc. which could also make lots of content.
I thought that Vermeer made balers , but I am pretty sure that that’s a welger baler so did Vermeer just rebrand a welger or what? I am throwing this out there for all of you guys that would know. Back in the’80,s and into the 90’s most popular baler in Ireland was the welger. Regards from Ireland
They are exactly the same baler just different colors, not sure who makes for who but I do know welger is more common in Europe, Brent actually had a welger Rp12? I think that was very similar to this one. Sadly that one burned around 2009
