Sharing with you my current Morning Skin Care Routine for Summer! Things have changed alot with my skin. It's become...normal. I can't remember what it's like for my skin to be so not needy, but right now, it's completely unproblematic. I'm quite sure this has something to do with my lifestyle which is far more consistent now than it's been in forever. Whether I'm indoors or outdoors, my environment is not fluctuating as much as I'm used to with city life, and my skin condition is responding to that by not fluctuating day to day as well.
Mask-wearing has also demanded fewer, lighter layers. Things get congested in there and maskne is real. Anyway, here are a few things I've been using, loving and testing! Enjoy, my Skin Squad!

I started using Paula's Choice after I saw your in depth review of Paula's Choice products. And my skin is doing a lot better now! I started with PC BHA9 that really did the job of smoothing the stubborn bumps on my forehead that no other product could do successfully and now have bought many of their products. In my house it doesn't matter if I'm indoors or outdoors. I have huge bay windows so we have some serious amount of sun light coming through every day so its SPF for me all the time and the only time it comes off is when I actually am going to go bed not before that at all.

I live in Australia and I was interested in how many native Australian ingredients she uses in the formulations. Hello dearest Rene, ı got courage from you to use first of vitamin c serum and then a moustrizing serum (which is including niacinamide peptides glucans) in same routine.. this summer my morning routine will be like : Washing my face with cold water + Missha Vita C Toner + Klairs Fundamental Watert Oil Drop + Spf .. definetly waiting new version of this. Really excited fort the mid day blue uv shield im reading on their website that it's even good for sensitive skin but when I read the ingredients I see fragance. Why do they do this!? Just skip the fragance pls :c sensitive skins can't handle it and they don't bring any benefits to the formula

I really wish brands would stop putting fragrance in everything. But with the Klairs UV, fragrance is the last ingredient in the list so it's not very prominent at all. Either way, I wish it wasn't added.

Also curious if you've tried Charlotte Cho’s new line from Soko Glam, Good (skin) days, particularly the C’s the day serum? I picked it up after running out of my L-ascorbic acid powder, too early to have a fully formed opinion, but I have noticed how soft my skin is. In regards to masking, when I'm not wearing medical-grade I will definitely be ordering a silk mask for obvious comfort reasons.

Not sure if it applies for you but I’ve found washing my face with water in the morning instead of cleanser, followed by a hydrating toner, vit c serum, moisturizer then sunscreen has been working the best. Exfoliating once a week too~

Would you say that the ceramide moisturizer has a good return policy in case it doesn’t work for me. I usually get occlusive bumps with some creams when I use them in top of my serum’s and I want to order it.

I read somewhere that you shouldn't use vitamin c, retinol and any active acid during summer, like AHA because it has bad long term effects in skin. It also says that vitamin c doesn't make the sunscreen work better. What do you think?
