First time taking this long time project out for a drive with the Club Permit plates. Accelerator came off but we had a bag of tools and used some trustly electrical tape to get it back on
What a nice old car. There are still a few driving around my country town in the hands of old people. We still have my old dads EA S pack sedan. He bought it from a government auction in '90. Turns out to be a march manufactured '88 police car ,light brown duco, XD-XE steel wheels, sunvisor, benchseat, column auto. The engine was ruined when the timing chain broke so he had a 4.0 Ltr Repco engine put in it. I plan to register in a few years.
I built an EB S for a mate that looked nearly identical to this except he had EB S wheels and it was 300kw and manual. I have pics here of where it stripped the teeth off 3rd in the T5...
The EA, B and D are very nice looking cars. I'll be honest its a biased opinion but if you get one sitting pretty next to a JDM car, they look really good. Get yourself a built sohc turbo and then they sound amazing.
man you live next to me I've seen you drive the nitro xr6 turbo ...ive got an ea aswell 😂 what a small world .....ive cruised next to you in sunbury in a gold vl turbo
Yes I remember you ? Haltech dash past autObarn ? Clean car mate love it looks amazing , what colour model EA you have ? Might bump into you again one day
@@benni727 until it does a head gasket, the smartlock plays up, tfi module plays up, the fuel pressure regulator fails and you can't buy new ones, the sump gasket leaks, ac leaks, the coolant lines rust away, etcetera, best to do a barra or duratec/mazda L swap
