Summer of Pride | Episode 2: Intersex Health with Dr. Katie Dalke 

All summer long HHS will be celebrating the “Summer of Pride” as we work to ensure a healthier future for all people living in the United States, during Pride Month and beyond. In this episode, psychiatrist and Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry at Penn Medicine Dr. Katie Dalke and Assistant Secretary for Health ADM Rachel Levine talk about intersex health and what it means to be intersex. Their conversation reiterates how important it is for medical practitioners to respect their patients’ wishes regarding their own bodies, and how doing so results in better mental and physical health outcomes for all.
