man i keep forgetting eczema is a chronic illness but damn it really is tough living with it... physically, internally and mentally draining. I can admit that there will be weeks when I have a bad face flare up where I just don't leave the house at all.... but we continue to thrive and not let it take over our lives and thoughts! I think I'm more than just my eczema. Sorry if this is poorly written I just thought someone might relate.

I love your mood tracker - really cute and soooo useful! So sorry to hear about the chronic illness/eczema. You seem to be very tuned in to how to deal with it, thankfully - thank you for the super interesting vlog! PS do you eat a lot of high histamine foods? That (histamine intolerance) and mast cell activation can be linked to eczema. xx

Thank you so much for walking and leaving a comment! Yes, ever since my worst ever flareup last spring I started a health journal which has helped me tremendously. I know way more about my body's triggers and do's and don'ts. I've learned so much! I do know about histamine intolerance which is strongly linked to gut health. I (mostly) stay away from high histamine foods and do take antihistamine pills, although I find that they don't work for me at all in the summer. The heat and sugar (which I have since stayed away from, at least when it's hot) is what exacerbates the symptoms for me the most, which is why summers are so miserable for me. I recently developed stress-induced hives which is just great. The only way to prevent them is taking antihistamine pills so at least it works for that. Oh yeah, I know I've had a bad gut for years now so I recently went on a high CFU probiotic and will see if it helps me in a few months. We'll see if it helps relieve my food triggers too-at least some of them. I will say now that it's chilly my eczema is wayyyyy better but then I've got seasonal sadness to deal with ughhhh.
