I wholeheartedly agree with the Battlegrounds Brainrot sentiment, those top BG players who just keep calling every new release mid because their top counter works great in BGs. But there was an interesting Brian Grant vid not too long ago where he talked about how there's not too much else to keep players around anymore. The game became very BG centric.
Black Widow relic is also goated for Crossbones because he gets way better crit rate which gives him so many furies. In bgs I get up to 15-18 furies in 40 seconds which simply destroys the opponent. Great vid Lags
Nah, I don't think Kitty deserves the demotion. She's still an insane attacker if the defender isn't incinerate immune. Her ability to completely negate damage when phased is still crazy useful when you realize how much of the fight you're actually phased. That alone lets her take some of the hazard shift nodes in AW. I still use her in AW, battlegrounds (when the meta doesn't straight up roadblock her), and questing. And she's still a decent defender. If you don't have a miss counter or someone that doesn't crit, she's really annoying. Plus, she's just genuinely fun to play with. She's still one of the best mutants imo
for those of you with a 7* shocker: run armor penetration on offense because he doesnt land crits, he reduces armor rating by his crit value. increased critical rating is only +130ish while armor penetration is +240ish, making it especially more significant in this meta of bgs
Mordo should definitely get promoted. His damage goes crazy if you can stack his furies. He is also a maestro counter. Way better than some mystics that are already in the Titan Tier
That Ironheart promotion is deserved, she may not have the biggest damage but it is decent and people do not know that she is a hard dust counter. She can parry non-comtact moves, counter miss and has immunities.
I believe Valkyrie deserves goat tier. She’s won’t do fights in 30 seconds but she can always finish a fight in 50-60 seconds. Plus she’s super versatile and can do 90% of the defenders. Obviously she counters the unstoppable and her pierces make her a good fantman counter
I think Black Widow (Claire Voyant) deserves a promotion. I use her so much in story mode and even though she isn‘t the greatest counter for the more recently released champs, she can still be used for so many fights and just shut down the opponent completely
I feel that northstar is gonna be (funnily enough) another quicksilver situation, very useful in various places but a somewhat small fanbase; Arcade, I just hope Kabam buff him, I just want to use him, his animations are so fun to go to waste; Patriot, I feel that people compare him to much against Kate or top skill champs, yet I feel Patriot is still very good just waiting for it to become more easily obtainable; Leader, I found it funny how first they thought he was complete doodoo, but then the community found out he punishes any type of healing and power gain, I really see Leader as a fairly good double treat
Hey Lags. I'd like a crack at convincing you to give Cull a promotion - but it only applies if you take progressing players into account. Basically, when I was working towards uncollected I found Cull covered so much ground in countering annoying defenders that I did not have other, better, counters for in my roster. His ability to parry non-contact hits allowed me to deal more easily with Domino and Yondu. Both very painful if you are progressing and are not great at intercepting. His armour breaks made it much easier to deal with Emma Frost; they last quite a long time so as long as you can get one on her it's then fairly easy to parry-heavy to apply more and keep her from going into diamond form. The true accuracy at 5+ charges allow you to deal with annoying evade champs such as Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, and Mordo; plus it allows you to ignore auto-block from the likes of M.O.D.O.K., Guardian, and Nova. Obviously, Venom is a better choice for countering spidey evades, but if you don't have him and you can get the ramp up then Cull can absolutely destroy. Finally, although he is a ramp-up champ, his ramp is really easy and once ramped to the max he can deal ana absolutely enormous amount of damage in a short amount of time. Two parry-heavies and then apply rout and you can deal a massive amount of damage very quickly. I used him to take the collector using only two revives. In summary, there are plenty of champs that do all things he does better or more easily - but if you are a progressing player and don't have access to the better options - he can turn previously annoying defenders into an easy kill and can deal massive amounts of damage to any defender, whether they are annoying or not.

I have seen insane gameplay of Wong soloing entire Necropolis paths without using any items. His ability to control fights, regen insane amounts of damage, and spam special attacks is unmatched. I feel judging solely on that merit deserves to put him in the GOAT tier. It's very specific but also undeniably insane. Maybe with the caveat of adding an additional ninja icon because he does require a lot of skill to maintain in those match ups; but in the right hands he is unstoppable. I think he fits in Titan tier as well but just something to think about. Also, Captain Briton. I think she deserves to be bumped up a tier. She has a lot of utility. She gains a ton of buffs, she can throw a lot of specials with her energize. Her defensive ability accuracy can ramp up. Her Physical resistance and block proficiency can ramp up. She has access to multiple debuffs. Her specials hit really hard when her prowess ramps. She can punish a ton of skill champions that shrug debuffs. Her basic attacks deal energy damage. There is a LOT in her kit. She isnt the fastest, but she is fun and useful. She shouldnt be lumped in with X23, Cable, Deadpools, Old Man Logan, etc who comparatively have way less utility and damage potential.
Also, on the topic of Kitty Pride. She was my first R5 and ascended champ. She is still insane. She carried me through tons of Act 8 content. She still melts in battlegrounds. She shouldnt be demoted yet, not until 7*'s reach rank 4 and 6*'s become less viable.
Patriot will make waves eventually only a matter of time. When you get him and start to play, guy is a blast to play in the damage department. The community going to love him soon enough.

Petition for hit monkey titan tier. First of all, he has garunteed grits on his m,l,m combos. Also his sp2 has garunteed crits. Not to mention the damage isn’t weak like bullseyes crits. They are STRONG. Also in assassins cunning he inflicts potent crit bleeds. I’ve taken photons, bullseyes, onslaughts, destroyers, serpents, and maestros with him and it was FAST. He’s so reliable and INCREDIBLY underrated. I hope you take my advice 🙏
I feel like after onslaught they don't wanna make another op meta champ. There holding back when in my opinion its totally ok to make one or two op champs every now and then because there fun to play.
I would demote Blade cuz he hasn't aged well at all, he's not even the best counter for dimensional beings anymore and the only good thing about him is his regen along with the debuff shortening thing.
With a 7* symbiote supreme, I feel like he deserves a promotion to the titan tier. He counters both Mastreo and Serpent really well and in bgs, the online downside to using him is that you have to use one and sometimes two special 3s but other than that he cooks really well. Also, the past bg metas with all the armor-up buffs have shown how powerful he is because of his ability to nullify all of them at once. Also with the block stat focus, he can survive with more health than he normally would. Besides if Wong and Diablo are in that tier right now I feel like the promotion is well timed since he is a much better attacker at the moment than them. Also if you want proof just see how bero cooks with him.
Void…. Should be at minimum titan tier. On defense you can get in a bad place with him very quickly. None of his debuffs are counterable for the most part and can cause extra damage. He does high dot per second without any special play style. If you give him a relic with a debuff S99 for example that another DOT debuff. If you synergize him he’s an absolute nightmare as well. He is immune to incinerate. Has super high health. One caveat to be titan he has to be high sig. Also hot tip you actually WANT to use the SP3 in his rotation for sick damage once you get to 5 unique debuffs especially with a synergy that keeps that 250 passive fury last for 20 seconds.
Adam deserves that promotion. Risky gameplay for sure, but I’ve put up 500k+ damage in less than a minute against an AW Onslaught boss (fully boosted). His unblockable mechanic is really helpful for the current AI setup.
Love that you took the feedback into account. I also understand that you haven’t used Adam much but that tier is 100% worth it for him. Bitter has a fantastic vid on him and he takes all sorts of meta threats. I think you just have to learn how to play around the AI and his reliability goes up so much even if the AI isn’t cooperating
I want to make the case for a hyperion promotion. He’s been killer for me at rank 3. He can be an underrated defender against champs that don’t have power control. And his furies give him insane damage, works insanely well with the gamora relic and just generally is able to clear content super fast.
I really think that void should be promoted to at least titan tier. He is hands down the best champion in the game at controlling power gain and regen with the only exception being maybe the leader. The only real downside he has is that his debuffs apply randomly but once he has 2 petrifies up thats it, no more healing or passive power gain for the rest of the fight as long as he is high sig. Plus his damage is pretty solid especially once you get the fear of the void passive up. Also void is still a tricky defender and is pretty tanky for places like BGs. Personally I just think you can't place the leader in titan tier and leave void in old god when they do essentially the same thing. Really enjoy the tier list videos lags, keep it up👍
5:33 not trying to defend kabam but I believe the tweet came out after the livestream which showed the deep dive which stated he had 3 immunities. And the immunities that where on the tweet happened to be all of the DOT debuffs he applies. But surely there should have been someone who had to of given the green light for the tweet to go out and obviously doesn’t know what the actual kit of Arcade is.
shang chi could be scary these days, he can activate his abilities by hitting through blocks but with lots of reparrying by defenders can mess up the fights. anyways shang chi can purify those reparry but still it could be risky sometimes.
Love the Ironheart promotion. She has lots and lots of utility and pretty solid damage, counters a lot of mutant defenders like Dust, Iceman, Bishop, Onslaught as well as Attuma, Korg, etc. Switchable damage and despair heal prevention very easily are also underrated utilities of hers, besides the immunities to reverse controls incinerate coldsnap and her tracking. Something I want to add Nimrod can still be used against Domino because armor breaks do not remove his armor up buffs and he has -100% armor break potency
Moondragon deserves Titan tier ngl, she ramps up quickly and has incredible damage 80% Poison, Bleed, Degen, AND Power Sting resistance, counters evade, tons of debuffs to benefit from inequity and despair She's tackled tons of bgs fights for me as well, crazy good for Photon and Sassy in particular
Well, to me. Northstar is phenomenal since he can be a long-term character. Arcade is fun I like him. Has use. Leader now is amazing. I'm not a fan of Patriot, I don't like him at all.
Gladiator deserves goat tier he is good for so many champs like fam, rintrah, maestro, domino(he has his personal abilities at 200% aa similar to maestro/kushala), his utility is nice counters miss n evade lots of dot n burst and temp nullify immunity
I still think Kitty Pryde should stay in GOAT Tier but more so at the bottom of it if you that's how you rank them. Her phasing mechanic can still bypass so much. I think if Crit me with your Best Shot meta cones back for the 2 year anniversary of BG she will rise higher again. I also frequently run Assault in Alliance Raids and she is who I pick with that unblockable sp2 to bypass the auto block if I don't have Undermine passive already.
one could make a good case for iron fist immortal just because of the sheer damage the guy does. very underrated and doesnt deserve to be same rank as purgatory and unstoppable colossus
I think iron man IW deserves a promotion - he is top 3 defenders in the tech class and has decent offensive utility with non contact attacks and an evade counter
Hey Lags! I would like to try to convince you on promoting Jubilee to old god tier. I have done many paths and AQ with Jubilee. She has done plenty of work in BG’s for me and in AW can crush many opponents in quick time. She has been a great option for me through story, BG’s, AQ and Aw.

I agree with the kitty demotion, and dust definitely deserves to be goat tier, the amounts of matchups she does, in all modes of the game, her immunities, and an amazing defender too.
I have a 6 stars The Destroyer and a 5 stars Absorbing man, which one should I level up and use mainly ? Same question for a 6 stars Captain Britian and 5 stars domino.
hey lags, i feel like to add a bit more depth into the the list id recommend to add like a number system like 1-5 rating how good a champ is as what there designed to do for example the leader is designed to be a utility champ and he’s amazing at what he’s designed for so he’d get a 5 however like patriot is designed to be an attacker but isn’t the best at that so he’s like a 2-3
Chee’ilth is GOAT tier for sure. She destroys The Leader, Sasquatch .. all sorts of champs. I’m drawing a blank but she’s so useful for so many situations.

Thank you for the great video! I notice that you have a relic icon on Sunspot and I was wondering which relic is especially impactful to him? I always thought the Gambit relic worked, but I recently learned his special attacks do energy damage so he doesn't benefit from the increased critical chance. I've settled on the Storm relic for increased energy damage to boost his incinerates and specials, but I would love to know if I'm missing something!
I believe patriot should be in Tatiana tier. I got him out of a paragon crystal as a 7 star and he is amazing. In battle grounds as a rank one he beat a r5 ascended doom I agree there is room for him to move up the tier.
I feel like both Kitty and Ghost have fallen off so much, theyre still great champs but theres others who do whay they do and so much more. Ghost is still a questing beast with her synergy team but without them she gets overshadowed by the bigger 7*s, until maybe a second level of ascension comes out these two will probably continue degrading in value
i have seen some northstar gameplay. he seems cool. and useful. but i do not have him myself. so i cant really have a good conclusion on him. really want to try him out, tho
The leader is a bit high on the list I like his utility but theres just no where to use him he can reverse regen and kinda reverses Powergain but would we use him over other better options? That can do what he does lol. like Sandman he can reverse regen and hes triple immune. Theres just too many good Science champs lol we have to see how he does moving forward ❤. 😊
I just got Valiant today! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Problem is I don't know who to rank 3. I got tech and skill 2-3 gem. I was thinking tech for Guardian since I duped him and can throw some sigs. And for skill I only have Black Cat on R2. The rest are R1s + just got a Cheelith. Is she worth it?
Who do you think is werewolf by nights powerful relic? I have him at r3 duped, and have him paired with a 6 star duped ghost rider relic but that may not be the most optimal.
player in 5.1 looking for advice here. My strongest champ is a 4 star Hyperion that is maxed out minus ascension. I have an unranked 5 star Corvus Glaive and a 5 star cosmic awakening gem. would it be better for me to wait for a better 5 star cosmic for when hyperion gets left behind, or do i use it now on Corvus.
