Hi. I went on Accutane 3 years ago. The side effects were rough for me. I got "arthritis" symptoms, leg cramps, bone pain, and because I couldn't move so much, I gained 25 lbs in a span of 10 months. My triglycerides levels were over the roof. However, my doctor kept monitoring me because I truly didn't want to live with acne anymore. I was 35 years old dealing with acne my whole life. Best decision I ever made. It was hard, but my determination to heal my face helped me endure the side effects. It will be tough but you can do it. I am rooting for you. Keep good communication with your doctor so he can make sure the medicine works For you and not Against you. Goodluck. You can do it. The first two months the acne was the same or a bit worse. But after 2nd month, no new pimples, it was just healing. It will get better. You can do it. ❤

Love your vlogs. I teach first grade. Be very careful taking Accutane...many side effects.....read up about it so that you know everything that it can cause. I hope that it works for you.

I did accutane years ago and while it was helpful I definitely felt the side effects of bone pain/stiffness. I still have acne now but it’s a lot more manageable.
