I definitely agree with you that things are changing rapidly look at Oregon for example, it was once labeled white utopia in the 1800s and now it's one the most progressive states in the country even to point where people are saying it's the main habitat of Antifa. Anyway thanks for coming out in support for justice along with ya homegirl Kiara, much appreciated.

It’s still a white utopia. Portland has the greatest white majority (72%) of any large city in the country, it’s rapidly being gentrified as more white people move in (black people are being pushed out of the historically black neighborhood of Albina as prices increase and the city refuses to build more affordable housing), and black people in Portland not only lag behind their white neighbors in things like income, health outcomes, and education, they also lag behind black people nationally. Why? There’s something very fishy going on in Portland, and until residents manage to actually vote in representatives that are actually willing to dismantle racist policies (which means closely researching candidates, not just voting for whoever has a D next to their name), it’ll remain a prime example of neoliberalism. Portland and Eugene are doing all the heavy lifting for that progressive moniker.
