A psychedelic country/pop no. it was first of Sinatra and Hazlewood’s string of hit duets. They became the iconic duo of the 60’s with their renowned hits released under their duet album - Nancy and Lee.
Released in 1966 , it was written and produced by Lee Hazlewood , arranged and conducted by Billy Strange under the label Reprise Records.
The song became a hit reaching no.49 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. It also reached at no.14 in Australia and was at peak position at no.3 on Vancouver’s CFUN Chart and was rated no.1 in individual Radio Markets in the US.
