Gosh. How could a 3 minutes movie with no dialogue shake our feelings like this? 😦

Our generation is extremely touch starved if we take a look at the comment section of this video. Not sexually but just the feeling of belonging is what we yearn for. A hug is more than enough to make us cry. We are not greedy...we are needy for someone who'll call us their own. Many of us, don't deny that many of us are introverts but we aren't thoughtless or feeling less. We want someone too...to hold our hand gently and whisper to us that everything will be alright. Ignorant Parents play a big role in contributing to the emptiness but sometimes even while surrounded by people, we yearn for a particular someone, the only one soul mate.

You said "That was the best summer of your life" But for me "That summer never ended" What a quote ❤️

This movie is like a visualization of my dreams hahaha I'm having a crush with my best friend since college. And a few months ago, before this pandemic, we were planning for a summer vacation together. He said he just got his motorcycle repaired and gonna test it for a long trip. So he asked me to take a leave from work and join him this summer to go to a beach I never visited. He knows that I really love going to the beach and he knows I won't refuse. But it's kinda sad to realize that it has to be delayed until uncertain time. I wasn't planning to confess to him, I just want to meet him. But the dreams about telling all my feelings are always on my mind. I fell for my best friend once. We used to go everywhere together. We used to talk about everything together. We used to have friendly dates together. We used to. ... Until I leaned in and tried to kiss him. Let's just say it didn't turn out like how this beautiful short film turned out to be. We're still friends, but we both made it clear that we will only be, and will never grow further as, just friends. We don't talk much often like we used to anymore. I miss my best friend. 💔

To everyone saying they wish this was a full series, I highly recommend the series I Told Sunset About You! It is also a cinematic masterpiece with incredible characters, acting, OST and it also follows two best friends who realize their feelings for each other.

Some of us, wished we had summers like that. The love seen here. Some of us just grow old... living that lonely life.

The other man is a perfect guy. He knows that he sometimes act more than friends to him and after realizing that the other guy fell for him, he stand for his actions. There are people who shows they love you, but when you lov ethem bavk, they will avoid you, but in reality they are the one who made you think that he may have feelings for you.

I remember watching this video a year ago and hoped for this to become a series one day and now the official trailer has been released for " Summerdaze the series" I am so so so so happy, thank you so much Telescope 😭❤️

This short film is beautiful. Telling a story through pictures and expressing feelings and desires through facial expressions and gestures is so impressive. A film to fall in love with and I'm pretty sure that anyone who saw this short film would want to see it made into a longer version or a series. Unfortunately I only stumbled across it now. More people should know about this film. ❤

To be honest, this 4-minute short film is better than most of BL series out there

I’ve watched this about 10 times now over the past couple of months,..no matter what happens in my life I keep finding this over and over again and every time these few minutes really mesmerize me ..their chemistry is great and the way the feelings in this short film are clear without even a word spoken is so beautiful. Not a single word was spoken but the story was still there. Their body language and the way they looked at each other tells it all. What a beautiful story in just three and a half minutes! This absolutely needs to be a series!

in the end, it's obvious that the boy doesn't like him back, but the way he chose to held his friend's hand teared me up. i interpret that the boy still loves him as a friend, he won't let anything break their friendship.

It's amazing, only feelings are there. We can't control to love someone whether the person is one of our best friends or a stranger and isn't it natural to fall for a person, whom you spend your most of the time with and know so well.

when you have a male bestfriend and he knows you are gay then showed you a picture of a girl saying “is she beautiful?” is a way of making you feel jealous. if you’re in this kind of situation maybe he likes you.

Lovely and heartwarming. Unlike many, I don't want a series made out of this short film. I think the the sweetness and poignancy of their relationship is captured very effectively in less than 3 1/2 minutes. It really is beautiful just the way it is. Nothing more needs to be added.

For me fall in love with my best friend was once an experience of love I ever had. We started as a good friend then we became couple and he left me because he got married. From the day he married, we never met each other again. It was one of my happiest time in my life.

I hope you can make this a movie because the cinematography are already great the chemistry of both actors are there, even they are not talking i can feel the feelings between their eyes, their eyes speaks a lot, what more if they have a convarsation right?

Why is this not a series?!?! I felt so much from this video it deserves way more! And falling in love with your bestfriend? I think that wouldnt be bad at all. If they're your bestfriend you already know you share a bond and love will only make that bond stronger, greater, and more fulfilling than anything. I really love this!

im here because i was rererewatching the summerdaze crowdfunding trailer and this was recommended to me, i decided to rewatch what a BEAUTIFUL shortfilm, it's so short yet so deep and meaningful the cinematography is outstanding, and the acting is so incredible that you can very easily tell what the characters are thinking and how they're feeling, the complexity of their thoughts and their struggles to face their feelings toward their best friend damn, i got emotional, it's so much more beautiful than i remembered it being (and i already loved it), maybe it's because my maturity level grew a little so i'm seeing things from another perspective

I am back here in 2021 because I still hope this will be a series 😭❤️

This made me remember the guy I loved back then. No, actually, I still love him to this day, and I think I'll continue to love him for the rest of my life. He changed my perspective in life. He was like the sun for me, too bright and warm. Sadly, I was the moon for him, we were polar opposites, and so our love was not destined to meet. I hope in the next life, if ever there is one, that we can be together. I will be the sunflower that waits for him every morning.

I remember of 1 scene whereby the injured boy want to kiss his best friend but has been rejected..feels so pity to the injured boy but at the end his best friend accept him as his boyfriend..the tall boy with dark skin is very handsome & the short boy with fair skin is very cute..very matching couple i guessed..a very short story but yet so meaningful..

I love seeing something that I myself and so many people can be able to relate too. Caring for a friend, hiding our feelings, and doing something about it. Even if we are not sure how the other person would react. The acting is so good! So natural! And you can feel a genuine connection between them. Not only as they portray as the role but also in person. You could not get that emotion to be shown in a short with no dialogue! Really applaud the acting, the story, and the cinematography!
