Summernats 25 Top Ten Burnouts 

The skid in Chris' XY Falcon GTHO is still one of my favourite and I feel, most iconic burnouts I've ever seen to this day.

ahh it's actually kind of refreshing to rewatch these skids from back in the day's when having the skill to keep your tip in's under control keeping it off the armco magnet & not setting you car on fire was how it was done. I kind off miss this era

How many days does summernats last for? I want to come to summernats in my lifetime and bring my 1969 hk kingswood. I'm only 15 at the moment though so i can't plus the car isnt ready yet obviously lol

I've blown so many diff seals and valves doing these kinds of burnouts. It's sad, America isn't what it used to be.

Summer Nats are fantastic. Leaves anything in America for dead. You guys aren't even allowed to do this stuff because everyone is so litigious and organisers get terrified. We don't care. There are so many top cars. We know how to do a muscle car here. Long history of them, but you guys wouldn't know because you are so insular.

what is the significance of burning tires, they can use it on high speeds I mean such a lot of horsepower they have on their engines, what a waste...

Ahhhh - the good old days when the best burnout won the competition. Not the same now days with the idiotic "one minute rule" and dumbarse drivers in massively overpowered cars holding them back in a low gear on the limiter, since they are too fucking GUTLESS to gear it up for some reasonable tyre speed, use decently wide tyres and not be so shit scared of "not winning" because they popped the tyre quickly. Now days it's not about skill... what driving school must you attend to learn how to hold your foot flat to the floor for exactly one minute and one second?
