Seems like LFC have gone back to beating the top teams and losing against the teams lower down the table as they had a habit of doing 10 years ago and it always cost them. Thought they had got over that but manifestly not!!

Liverpool are in a transitional period at the moment, which seems to happen for all teams from time to time. We are going through the same period ourselves. Liverpool are simply light in the midfield imo. Tiago can't pull all the strings on his own. Henderson doesn't have the legs he used to and can't be all over the pitch anymore, and firminho is just having a bit of a bad season. It means Liverpool seem to have to rely on longer balls to get up the pitch and I honestly think a lot of people underestimated just how much Mane brought to the teams goal threat. Until nunez gets it together and a couple of new midfielders come in they will continue to have this inconsistency. I personally think carvelho (not sure if I've spelt it right) should have been brought on more this season. Leeds kill me sometimes because we are so nearly a good team who just lack a few basic ingredients. We are light in some key positions and personally I blame the board for our woes this year. We needed a striker, we needed a left back. We've got no good cover for the midfield if Tyler Adams or roca gets injured. And personally I think we need a cb that has the pace and intelligence to not leave us wide open when we get dispossessed during attacking transitions. We've given away so many Sunday league goals this year and always find ways to sabotage ourselves. Liverpool and Leeds have a lot more in common than many think lol

When it's the first win for us since we beat Chelsea on August 21st and when we play away to Liverpool and we always loose last time we won at Liverpool was 2001 we can be happy massive win for us not getting carried away.
